Thought it was a little too quiet in here!

Oh I guess I have missed a few.

Have there really been no naughty puppies for over a year?
Rubie is 6. And did this today.

WTF!?!I take it Rubie didn't want that door closed?Rubie is 6. And did this today.
We have an extra piece of carpet which is nice but now to figure out if we attempt the fix ourselves or get someone who knows what they're doing...Wow and I thought cats had the power to damage carpet!ugh... it's no ones fault. Our friends came over and brought their dogs so Rubie was happy to have free reign in the bedroom with a peanut butter kong until the other dogs made their presence known by running into the house (we were all hanging out outside). Apparently she did not appreciate that...We have an extra piece of carpet which is nice but now to figure out if we attempt the fix ourselves or get someone who knows what they're doing...

persistence is one of her strong suites
We have a few patches in our carpet because of that. Then when the next pup comes along they discover this fun patched area. LOLWe have an extra piece of carpet which is nice but now to figure out if we attempt the fix ourselves or get someone who knows what they're doing...
Ha! We bought this house 7 years ago and it still has damage showing from the dogs that lived here before... The solid wood doors are scratched and the window sills also. In the laundry room the vinyl floor has a hole at the edge of the door. I'll never forget coming to see the house & the owners dogs were in the fenced backyard. The realtor & I were walking to look at the barn and one dog got out - he bent down & picked up 2 large sticks to keep the dog off of us while he called the owner to come get the dog! They were def out-of-control.We have an extra piece of carpet which is nice but now to figure out if we attempt the fix ourselves or get someone who knows what they're doing...

Now it's in a glass cabinet being protected. When she was first here and very young I caught her trying to chew on a large horse statue that I had on the floor. Again something that was my mother's. No real damage since I caught her ( I watched her like a hawk!) and the statue was moved to a higher place. Even now it's within reach again but she doesn't touch it. Those two items are precious since they are from my parents so she might have had to be packed up and shipped off if she destroyed it.

Me too!Reading through it once again I am feeling blessed
Me either but Hubs says is because I don't sit down for the first year they are home.I've never had a dog that did a lot of damage!
"Just act natural, maybe she won't notice..."She looks like she's really feeling guilty right?"
