Naughty puppy thread - post your pics

@JanS Phoebe is missing a lot of pics in here :whistle::whistle:

Her sister thought she would finally join.

When Daddy's Stanley thermos cup sounds exactly like your benebone and Mom realizes it is in fact NOT your benebone you are chewing on. At least this is only the second thing she has destroyed in all her puppy life...

Probably just jinxed ourselves.

Hard to even be mad at her at all.

Ooohh she had fun with that remote!!! Ripley's other thing was a usb c cord for charging our phones when she was a bitty puppy. Luckily it wasn't plugged into anything but it didn't take long for her to make it toast.

ugh... it's no ones fault. Our friends came over and brought their dogs so Rubie was happy to have free reign in the bedroom with a peanut butter kong until the other dogs made their presence known by running into the house (we were all hanging out outside). Apparently she did not appreciate that... We have an extra piece of carpet which is nice but now to figure out if we attempt the fix ourselves or get someone who knows what they're doing...

Wow and I thought cats had the power to damage carpet!

Ha! We bought this house 7 years ago and it still has damage showing from the dogs that lived here before... The solid wood doors are scratched and the window sills also. In the laundry room the vinyl floor has a hole at the edge of the door. I'll never forget coming to see the house & the owners dogs were in the fenced backyard. The realtor & I were walking to look at the barn and one dog got out - he bent down & picked up 2 large sticks to keep the dog off of us while he called the owner to come get the dog! They were def out-of-control. Best thing about this house is no carpet.

I thought I dig up this old thread! Reading through it once again I am feeling blessed. 😇 I've never had a dog that did a lot of damage! They did damage, believe me, but not half as much as some of the stuff I see on the thread.

Even Annie has been fairly good. Some of the things she got but I didn't take a picture of is ....a charging cord that was hanging over her crate. Hey, it was in her crate so it was fair game! 😆 I have a hat of my father's that was within reach and she took it but didn't do anything to it, thank God. I would have had to send her back to Jan for that! :spit: Now it's in a glass cabinet being protected. When she was first here and very young I caught her trying to chew on a large horse statue that I had on the floor. Again something that was my mother's. No real damage since I caught her ( I watched her like a hawk!) and the statue was moved to a higher place. Even now it's within reach again but she doesn't touch it. Those two items are precious since they are from my parents so she might have had to be packed up and shipped off if she destroyed it.

When she got tall enough to look out one of the long windows in the breakfast room I caught her chewing on the wood windowsill! A lot of correction and then one of the chairs to the table was placed in front of it for a while. But again she grew out of that and never touched it again. I'll be doing a little sanding and varnishing this summer.

So now I'm racking my brain trying to think of something else that she damaged or destroyed and really not coming up with anything. The biggest thing tempting her now is to get piece of wood from the bins by the fireplace. A couple of times we caught her either carrying a small piece around or actually taking some bark off of something and making a mess! She loves her sticks outside so she thinks this is fair game. It's not, Annie. :tap:

And the other thing that temps her is this calming bed! I was out cleaning stalls and came in to this!

She ripped a hole a long time ago and I have sewn it up a couple of times. The last time I just took it away from her for a couple of months. I recently brought it back down and she's been fairly good with it but I did leave the opening. Don't ask me why. I think I just didn't take the time to sew it together. Plus I really thought I'd be taking it away again. Well, it must have been too tempting. This is the first time in almost a month that she did that much damage to it. Couple of times she would mouth it, maybe even pull out a little fluff but this was a lot more than usual. She looks like she's really feeling guilty right? I don't know about that ! 😆 but right now it's being taken away again. And I am going to find time to sew that all up and then see if we can try it again.

Me too!
I've never had a dog that did a lot of damage!
Me either but Hubs says is because I don't sit down for the first year they are home. :tearsofjoy: I say I am teaching them how to live in MY house.
Riley has been exceptionally good! His biggest thing is toilet paper. That lil turd can have a full roll shredded in seconds! Easy fix though, just train Hb to shut the door!
