Naughty puppy thread - post your pics

Welcome!

Speaking of. Ask me why I was searching online this morning for "are pimentos bad for dogs?" The site actually thought I wanted to give it to Mila. Oh tsk tsk tsk. Them silly kids. "Grandma" (dogs know her as such so they know the difference between her and me = mom) assumed she could leave her pimento spread on the counter. Open. Ya know. As if Mila would leave that little bottle like the good angel she's not. Lol My mom's defense was, "It was pushed back on the counter!"

I think my first clue should've been the moment I laid eyes on Mila's 4 week old pic and knew her name was "Mila the Rebel." Welp. Stuck with her now. <-- read that hidden message as "I can't believe how damn much I love her and she's so beautiful and she is stuck with me," even when I'm running through the house to catch her in the act. :D :sonic:

Hahahahaha I'm looking forward to sharing in her antics. @GennyB I have a feeling Ares and Drake are gonna be two tired boys getting run around by theses girls lol

I think Drake will actually like having a full time girl back in his life. Up until January he never knew life without Greta. She would romp and play with him here at home. Then my son moved to the farm and it changed a bit. Drake wanted to run like the wind and Greta wanted to hunt. Enter Gigi. She made Drake very happy because she also wanted to run. Drake hasn't seen much of Gigi because he was on crate rest. He is feeling better now so we might have to get him back over to the farm to get him back in shape for Rumor.

Hahaha that was my hubby's response sooo many times. Well these puppers have very long tongues and are very capable of retrieving many things off the counters. Bacall found my husband's wallet and cell phone case to be very delectable. Of course mail, money and glasses rank high on their list of fun things to chew. Lol
Pimento peppers are not toxic but the salt that they are packed in can be a bit much for the pups tummy. :-))
Glad you and Mila have joined us here. Keep sharing those puppy antics....it helps us to know we are not alone in the mayhem our angels create. :-)

Keys. I don't think any of the animals we've had were interested in keys, thankfully. It's funny too how there are plenty of things along the edge of the counter that she doesn't touch. I'm thankful for that much. Mail she likes, but we give her special ads that she can have, so like the cardboard, she's been good about not messing with the stuff she isn't given.

Today's adventure is trying to put away the laundry. She kept stealing laundry from the basket when I turned my back. My parakeet Khaleesi (pic) just thought it was the most entertaining thing on the planet, and was, "ha, ha, ha," in her corner, lol.

Had to deal w a howling fit when I locked Mila behind a gate while I cleaned a mess up. I was only a few feet away, but her being behind a gate and not able to be rightthereonmomsbutt?

Ooowwwwoooowwwwooowww! I can't get to mooooooommmmmm!! Heeeeeellppppp!!

Sorry neighbors! No, she isn't abused, just unable to help. Haha

The puppies are total drama queens/kings.
I fold all my bath linens and cleaning cloths and come back to find my neat folding disheveled and many items missing. Of course I glance in the back yard and they are scattered EVERYWHERE, and being used for tug of war. Rush down, gather them up and back in the wash they go. These guys are relentless but the mischief in their eyes are priceless.
I leave my husband in charge of the pups for a few hours while on a job and come home to him saying "they won't listen to me and look at this mess they made". I tried he says....hahaha, then he leaves the mess for me to clean up. Grrrr seriously???? They made the mess on your watch so clean it up!!!

Oh my gosh, my mom does that to me a lot too. I'll be making dinner and leave her in charge for 5 minutes, only to find a mess in the living room I have to clean up. Drives me batty.

Then Mila gives me shame face when I ask her what she did, lol. I'll be glad if she quits the howling fits. Do they grow out of that? I hope.

What a beauty! Our African Grey is also very focused on the dogs and is constantly saying "Albert!". :D

I can't even tell you how many times Hubby says "they won't listen to me" when they're outside with him. Yes they will if you say it right and enforce it. ;)

I get the same from my mom. I finally told her, "That's because she doesn't respect you. If you expect her to listen, don't ask, command." She's finally learning. I swear teaching others in the house is as difficult as training the dogs, haha. But for my mom the squirt bottle has been working. Since she's 76 (as of Oct), she can't go chasing after Mila, but she's learned, speak the command, and then follow through. Don't just sit there and hope for the best. Mila will exploit that to the fullest. Orrrrrr Mila will give her the you don't love me, why do you hate me look. I've watched my mom turn away from it just so she doesn't laugh. They are gooooodddddd at the poor puppy face. (Getting the orphan look right now while I finish up at the computer, lol.)

I hear "Get him will you? He won't listen to me." I say "Well, Hey doesn't mean come to him." :p
I don't understand why he won't learn the commands they are trained to and then expect the dog to listen. :wacky:
Hahahahaha I just heard last night my dude say "I don't want to learn to train, I just want to walk and pet them." Me: "then don't ever complain to me that they don't behave for you. Owning a dog requires training, you don't want to do that or be apart of it then I don't ever want to hear you bitch about them." Yes I'm feisty lol

I just remembered the "thing" Greta had for chapstick. That girl was obsessed with it. My boys were terrible about using it and being careless about putting it away. She was pretty good with that stuff. She would find a tube and put it between her paws and and lick that thing empty. I couldn't believe how she got the lid off without destroying the tube. I'd get home and see the empty tube on the floor and say "Boys, who wasn't paying attention?" They would get upset with me because they thought Greta should get in trouble.
I think she got about 3-4 tubes, sticks, whatever you call 'em before the boys learned to put it away. Of course it helped I refused to buy anymore until they learned. Some time with some cracked lips taught them pretty quick.

Just came across this one from when Della was about a year old. Even though both her and Albert were good pups, they seemed to like getting into things right next to me when I fell asleep on the couch. ;)

Just confess. You set her up. There she is sleeping and being soooo good. Lol Last night I heard Mila trying to get on the counter and rushed into the room (silly me thought I could get ready for a shower), only to find her hop away from the counter, and in one move, start eating her food. We just love to think so ill of these sweet pups! Lol They are such angels.

LOL she's definitely a smart girl.
