Naughty puppy thread - post your pics

image.webp Here you go. Hahaha
Is that pic in this thread? I want it!...Can I do that? I'm making a framed pic/shadow box collage in Jax's room (I know I wont' be finished until summer!!), but those two pics are hysterical! And, yes...Jax has a room (he's never in)! ....Obviously I'm unmarried and without children!

They started digging. I had a bad spot that I was treating for Chinch bug and they proceeded to dig up the sod. Their romping and playing wore down several areas to pure black soil and they rolled in it and brought it in the house. I couldn't keep up with having to clean them and the house everyday so I put landscape cloth on it. :/
I was going to re sod with a Palmetto grass that will hold up to heavy traffic but I will have to fence off the area until it takes root. I much prefer grass over decking. My husband wants the decking...it's not like he has to take care of any yard work since I do it all but he keeps saying a decking will be a great entertainment area. I don't like entertaining because its a lot of work that falls on me to do.
He threw me a birthday party once and I was overwhelmed with all the cooking. He hired a company: 'Pigs in Paradise' to roast a pig and deep fry 4 turkeys and I steamed 40lbs of Key West pinks (shrimp). About 65 people were invited and 178 people showed up. It was fun, we had a live local band and was a great evening but my gosh the clean up was a nightmare.

Mila does that. She was worse when younger, but she was obsessssssed with pulling up little patches of grass! I'm not sure what the fun was in doing it. AND she'd go around digging little holes in the dirt. So far though, her worst habit is just wanting to dig in the dirt and make a hole. I've never seen a dog make a hole that big and quick before. Even my Australian Shepherd, Sabrina, started to do it when she was in her final year (she was put down in December last year), but the holes would take weeks to get as big as Mila takes one minute to make. Not even that. lol Her drive is rats, or hosta roots. The rats especially. Where they've gone through the yard, she'll dig 'em up (or attempt to in some places) like she's digging for clams. Weirdo. I read up on the hostas because I assumed they were bad, but she's still here, and never suffered so much as a tummy ache so I shake my head, and protect them more for me than her at this point.

As for destruction I have to say, she's known what she can, and can't destroy and I'm hoping it keeps up. I give her cardboard boxes to destroy for the sheer pleasure, bones are only temps for when I want her go from excited to calm state before nap time so she doesn't have them long enough to destroy them. But she LOVES getting new cardboard boxes to destroy. I give her the small ones from pasta and such when I'm cooking at night too. Annoying to clean up after, but she likes it so it makes for a happy momma! Er, happy puppy! :)

Ohhh Mila allllmost got a slice of raisin bread tonight. "Grandma" (my mom) put it back off the counter, but Mila discovered tonight is she leans on her side, she gets ooonnneee more inch. I'm glad I caught that. Don't need tummy problems anymore. Ugh.

On behalf of everyone in the Naughty Puppy thread we would like to extend a warm and sharp tooth welcome to @GennyB's 'Rumor' and @AresMyDobie's 'Athena'.
We know they will be a great addition to this thread with LOTS of contributions of 'Destructive Designs' created by their very own little demolition doberdozers.

Umm....not sure how to respond. Laugh, cry or just accept my destiny. I already know Rumor is full of herself and is going to keep me on my toes so I guess all I can do at this point is cross my fingers and hope for the best cause I'm certainly not going to change my mind.

Just don't forget to document the naughty moments with photos. :D
That's what I was thinking! Greedy trying to keep it ALL to herself! LOL
LOL, Lisa told me the other day that Demelza took it out in the back yard through the doggy door but Atticus was keeping his distance like he was pointing at her saying "it was all her this time". ;)
