Naughty puppy thread - post your pics

@Tropicalbri's so sorry to hear about the limping issues with your babies. Hopefully you can keep them still so they can heal. So glad Bogie is all better from the rock incident as well. They sure keep us on our toes! I have nothing to report in the destruction category since my sunglasses, fingers crossed she behaves.:fingersx:

Haha, looking forward to hearing all out the escapades of your new baby!

Should be interesting. Miss Rumor will be home just before Christmas.

Umm did I mention we do tons of entertaining for the holiday? Every room is decorated. I might cancel Christmas this year.
Just call me Scrooge.

My hubby left closet open this morning and while in the bathroom I heard the pups chewing/playing with something. I hollered to my hubs asking what were they chewing. He said: your shoe. Me: where did he get it?
Him: the closet. I immediately got onto him about leaving closet door unlocked and open. He got snippy with me....argh....why couldn't have been one of his good shoes?? Then maybe he would remember to close the damn door!!
Men can only open doors lol closing them... Is a lost concept with them :rp: I get after my fiancé all the time about how he somehow can't figure out how to close things!

It is so very frustrating. They must have a block out on closing doors, drawers and microwave door.
I follow behind him closing everything, picking up after him so pups can't get it.
It's a full time job.
That's why I annoy him with notes everywhere , including in his socks and underwear. Just my gentle reminders. Lol

Lol at least you're gentle... I am not. Me:"you know drawers can close to right ?" And I demonstrate it with opening and closing the thing. I told him if doesn't start to close the drawers he will find all his belongings to slowly start disappearing. He didn't believe me till he had no underwear lol

My mom has this complaint and so do I. Whenever my kitchen gets redone, it will be shelves on the top for plates and glasses. Then I'll have an excuse to have nice ones. :D

Since we split everything 50/50 I make a point of letting him know its going to cost him if he keeps it up.
And it does cost him. Hahaha I just make him pay for work beyond the normal upkeep. He knows I won't allow anyone else to come in and clean the house so I charge him for the weekly heavy cleaning, not the everyday cleaning. It works for me and he is fine with it so that's how we even it out.
It pays for the dogs food for the month. Lol
It's called the 'Art of Compromise'.
:-)

My hubby makes a lot more than I do and there are times when I will ask him to cover more of the expenses and he does. It would be nice if he would just offer instead of me asking....but it all works out.
We have our own checking accounts and one joint account that the bills are paid from, then we have two savings accounts. One for the animals care and one for home taxes and flood and wind insurance.
This way it eliminates disagreements over finances.
We each contribute 22% of our monthly earnings to the animal savings account and thank goodness we do, because lately these two have been money pits.lol

God, please tell me I won't be contributing to this thread in a few months. :fingersx:
LOL, I was talking to Lisa today and she had to tell me her latest Demelza story, out of many.

It was her sons Birthday the other day so she made a big traditional Italian meal to have him over for dinner. She had a 12 quart stock pot of home made spaghetti sauce that she simmered for something like 5 or 6 hours. When it was done she put it as far back on the stove as she could to cool and went out to do a few things. She came back in and noticed some splotches of sauce on the floor, and the pot was still intact, but the cover inverted. Not a speck on the stove or the dogs at all.
When she lifted the lid she realized that the whole 3# beef roast that was in there was completely gone. LOL

It seems that Demelza had pushed a chair up close enough to literally get on the counter, fish the roast out without disturbing the pot, and apparently Atti was able to reach high enough to clean up any spillage on the stove. :D Team work at it's best, but she's always the instigator. ;) Needless to say, she had to start all over again on the dinner. LOL

Lol they never seize to amaze me! So darn clever :D

Whilst I'm in here I might aswell share my 'cleaning woes with a doberteen!'

Suffice to say...he's normally crated whilst I clean up! Lol

Wait, so I'm not the only one with a Doberman who thinks the vacuum is here to kill the whole family? There is nothing Mischa goes nuts over more than the vacuum lol... except maybe the broom. Which I still can't figure out because that doesn't even make noise!
