Hi!!! I think you may want to have the vet check for worms again. My pup got a dewormer every time he went to the vet and still had round worms and had to be treated again I was having the same trouble tried the best of foods and other stuff nothing was helping he still wasn’t at the weight and just was linky so I took him back found out he still had them we struggled with it for awhile

So I found out he has “isoporos” and that could be the reason he isn’t gaining weight. The vet doesn’t want to introduce anymore vaccines or medication right now until his diarrhea passes. So in 4 days he will get the meds for it.

I hadn't heard of that before so I went Googling. It's Coccidia. People here have mentioned that before, so I'm sure there will be lots of tips coming in soon. Poor little guy. Keep him warm and hydrated.

He’s currently in his crate right now staring at me dozing off. The vet gave him Benadryl and he is a sleepy puppy. Also he didn’t sleep at all last night so he’s going to get some good sleep tonight hopefully.

However, I’m sleeping next to his crate tonight to keep an eye on him if he needs to go potty or anything. He’s been pissing like a race horse for the last few hours.
