Help!!!!!Crazy puppy!! Or am i the stressed one ?

I would scale down the activity and work on resting more. The more activity they get the more wired they get and then you have dog who cannot settle and wants more.
I agree. Resting a puppy is sometimes something that needs to be trained.
The good part, he meted some dogs and other people and learned some socialisation…
I am really happy that even with all the dog pee and the learning you both are doing which is hard work, you are still seeing and telling others about the positive things in your day! This is really important!

I’m really proud of him, he is learning so quickly. Maybe he peed few times in the house but he never, absolutely never pooped , just outside and always start acting crazy when he want to poop so this is how we know to take him out fast (terrace or quick walk) today he’s been twice to the potty place with 0 accidents in the house, he learned fast “ sit” , “ paw”, “wait” , still working on “ down” which he did it few times , same with “ under and sit” … but as much as i love him sometimes i just want to leave as far as i can of him 😂😅

And ofc at this age he won’t follow 100% because is still learning that’s why we take pauses or alternate with playing …and i know is just my patience… and inexperience… but still

This is fabulous! If yours had 0 accidents at 8 weeks old today, that's 3 less than my 14 week old had today! Mine is smart, but of the 5 puppies I have raised, house training will be the worst with this one. And you are seeing all the smart learning these Dobermans do!

Maybe you are inexperienced, but you are doing a lot correctly! Like @MichiH suggested, though, really work on the resting as a skill to be trained, and make his crate only big enough for him! He will be the best big boy in no time, there will be great days and some not great along the way. Today is a not great day for us in my house, but I know tomorrow is just around the corner.

I always reward him when is doing something good. Today was a kind of good day, yesterday he peed in the house, in the elevator outside of the potty place, in the crate, barks, whines and i hope neighbours don’t hate us already hahaha

Tomorrow we will go to one of the trainers we found to check the pulse and listen what is having to say and see if is what we actually need

I’m actually happy also i can get some sleep and wake up just once in the night and once in the early morning before the day actually start

Today i changed my puppy’s schedule with less walking , and playing … today i walked him 15 minutes in the morning, 1 hour on the lunchtime and other 10-15 minutes in the evening ( or less because of the rain) and training combined with playing for 20 minutes for 2 times and in the evening we let him play alone so he get used to playing alone … results … going insane with a burst of high energy and cries and whinings and barks + escaping from his playden in craziness of attention … and me crying out of patience and despair… just an update

Okay…you have gotten a lot of great advice from folks who have been through where you’re at now. You have great intentions and I admire your attention and energy on wanting to train him correctly.

This has been said many times but I want to repeat it because this is where I messed up with my first Doberman- you can absolutely give them too much freedom, too much attention , too much space, too much fun. In puppyhood, they will take all of that and then demand more. You give more and more and before you know it, you have built a high energy monster that doesn’t know how to turn off- just always go go go.

I know you are in an apartment, are you concerned with Ceri barking/crying and the neighbors getting upset? Because you have got to put his butt in the crate (not the playpen) to teach and learn how to settle down and just turn off. I would even graduate into doing this in a separate room to which he cannot see me to train out separation anxiety.

If he whines, cries, howls, throws himself at the crate…then so be it. He will learn through your tough love that he needs to settle. Now of course if he gets really bad, you can go within sight and calmly tell him, he is alright and the situation is fine. Then leave the room.

Puppyhood to about 12months can be tough depending what kind of energy drive genetics your pup has…but put in the work and energy and you will be greatly rewarded when he matures and the dust settles.

Good luck.

Our female, Sasha, is 2 yrs old and although we have had many dogs, she is our first Doberman. People here were so helpful when she was a puppy, and made me feel understood and not alone. They will help you too. My only advice is something you seem to be already good at and that is this; spend lots of time with your puppy. Learn to understand his own unique personality. Follow advice here, but don’t be discouraged if he doesn’t learn as quickly as someone else’s puppy. @MyBuddy is right. They are like toddlers. Don’t leave anything he can rip apart in his crate. He can swallow pieces of many toys or beds and be seriously harmed. Our girl is 2 yrs and I still watch her like a hawk. Be consistent, but take the time to love him too. He and you will form a bond that no one can break. Best of luck to you and have fun!

Stick with it on crate training. Add some more training sessions throughout the day. You can feed his meal through training.

This terrible stage usually only lasts about a month in my experience where they are incredibly needy, unhappy, and need tended to every two hours where they potty, play, sleep, rinse and repeat. Your schedule revolves around them and it can be exhausting. When he's had his needs met, put him in his crate for a nap and you take full advantage of the down time for yourself. Lights out. Door shut if you have to. Turn some music on to drown him out.

You can also feed a meal through a puzzle feeder or snuffle mat to help tire his brain. I use these on rainy days or days where I AM tired lol

Thank you everyone for all the amazing advices ! It’s really helping me in this hard times… today was a good day, we have been to first meeting with a trainer and from Wednesday we are starting the trainings! We incorporate home basic obediences training with play, feed his last meal with a puzzle ball on the terrace and let him sniff all the kibbles left behind, and a little play “ catch!” And “ bring it back” , we started the crate training, took all the advices about leaving him cry out and not giving him too much attention, today even have his first bath which he did amazing ! We modified his playden so he can’t escape anymore. This community is amazing, thank you so so so so much! Today was finally a relaxing day after a hard week. His potty training is starting giving results, another day without accidents in the house and knew to use the potty he had outside. Just hope for the best

A small routine change at home, a big routine change with the trainer, and look at you guys succeeding! Awesome work!

today i walked him 2 hours in the park
That's too much. I know it's been said, but wanted to reiterate that they can play and walk all day long! Mental stimulation is the only thing to really wear them out!
But sometimes i just want to give it back from where we took it hahahaha
I'm not the only one?

Less is more with a young pup. I don't think he necessarily needs 3 hours of non stop play plus play in his play pen.
Exactly! They will build endurance and you don't want that.
for the moment the all activity is in the livingroom and because of the cats
We have a cat too and we waited too long to introduce them. Somehow at the time we thought it was better to wait until Kaiser got bigger and more calmed down. Well, he definitely got bigger but not more calm! After he is mentally tired, his vibe should be less crazy and then let the cats check him out. The cats will correct him and that will make them more confident around him. Don't wait with this.
Turn some music on to drown him out.
LOL, I'm surprised I'm not deaf from how much I resorted to this 😜
