Help!!!!!Crazy puppy!! Or am i the stressed one ?

Does he stay in there pretty well? I was thinking about getting something like that but I figured she'd probably jump it or knock it down easily and grow out of it quickly. The crate works for us . We have a pretty open floor plan so blocking Annie into one area is almost impossible. Where does he sleep at night? And how is he doing at night?

If i let in there planty of chewi toys he is doing pretty well and in the night he is sleeping in the crate from our bedroom
 
Less is more with a young pup. I don't think he necessarily needs 3 hours of non stop play plus play in his play pen. They sleep a majority of the day and use bursts of energy for about 30 minutes. Too much play he could be over stimulated and over tired like a toddler and throwing a tantrum. If you can, I'd do more play sessions but shorter durations for 20-30 min.

When he goes in the play pen he must learn to entertain himself and settle. So no more play with him in there. That's a time for him to learn to exist on his own. Sometimes the play pens can be too much space for them for learning to settle. Try putting him away for a nap in a crate and see if that helps. It feels more like a den and will encourage them to rest and sleep!

He's a cutie for sure. Great job on incorporating training sessions. Those will tire him out the most and if you put them away to rest after a session, it will sink in more for processing!

Thank you so much for the advice but he won’t stop after 20-30 minute … he is a ball of energy… i tried and almost devastated the playden and will take a short nap, he usually nap for 2 hours then back to tornado 🌪️
 
And another question …. How do i leave him alone if i need to go to groceries?? I think is my fear he could escape or something … but ..

We made his playpen enough for his bowls and his bed and to can play a little ..

Crate, start crate training asap. He may fuss, but let him fuss. Like @Rits said the pen may too much for him. And do exactly what @Rits said about training the crate. Over time he will put himself in there and use it to shut down.

Crate training is the best thing you can do for your pup and you.

I even have one in my car because Pepper is the worst in the car. Plus, it’s safe. We then remove it when we travel and use it in the home we stay in.

Look up some info on crate training and make it fun, add treats when he goes in, start using a word for him to go to his crate, and reward when he does it.

He has to learn to settle when you put him down for a nap. I'd invest in a wire crate. He can't run and run and run until he drops. Teaching them how to relax will save you and him stress for the long term! You will just have to ignore his inevitable crying.

I watched some videos and i have an app ZigZag that teach how to train him about his crate … i was thinking to buy a second crate so he can go directly from his playpen … i saw some using like this … plus … i don’t let him alone in the house … for the moment the all activity is in the livingroom and because of the cats and because of the potty training … the playpen have exit directly to the potty place …

His night crate from our bedroom is this big …

Yes 2 seems to be the best bet. One in your room like you have and another in a local spot in the house.

That’s perfect! You can also cover it with a sheet, leave the front area open from the sheet for airflow.

Trainer will help a lot and guide you as to what to do and train.

It’s tricky with him because right now after he wakes up a little bit in the night, he start to chew the crate and everything that’s inside because we are closing the door also to not start walking and chew things around
