the piece of paper is nothing but that plus a fee to belong & if it's anything like AKC, another $25 or $30 to get it? I dunno because the application stops at "Are you a DPCA member in good standing" LOL. I personally don't feel any pain, I'm more concerned about the way this club is representing (or not representing) the BREED. Any title a dog gets is also an acknowledgement of the handler/owner/trainer - the dog never does it without them. So why this thing about the most versatile dogs in the breed not getting recognized? Because the club whatever-blah blah blah doesn't recognize "that really dedicated owner", that's why.
