"canis Panther" Breed And Breeders

Uh oh . . . another 'Canis Panther' is showing up at the same rescue - could this be the start of an unfortunate trend? that's two in less than a month:

Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus
Zeppelin is a “Black Dog” whose owners said “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You” in an abandoned house. His story is a “Heartbreaker,” and he is looking for an owner who will give him a “Whole Lotta Love” and not quit him again. Zeppelin is 2 years old and he is a little “Dazed and Confused” about what is going on, but we will get him to the vet an into a foster home that is not “Over the Hills and Far Away.” He is a Canis Panther, which is a cross between a Dobe, Dane, Lab, and Pit. Z...eppelin is a Safe Humane Chicago Court Case dog, so he comes with a lifetime of training to his adopter. His “Time is Gonna Come” to be adopted by a patient owner who will understand that he is a little shy around new people. He is reported to be good with dogs, but he has not been assessed with cats yet, and we are only comfortable placing him with older kids until we get to know him better. Sorry to “Ramble On,” but we really think Zeppelin is an awesome guy. If you’d like to “Bring [Zeppelin] on Home,” email [email protected]

If he's a court case dog that means he was abused prior to being rescued. Not good!

Ok,I'm going to make one last post here, then just agree to disagree.
I'm sure I'll catch some flack over this, that's fine I'll take my lumps.

Once again this isn't meant to sound angered or with any animosity, simply a discussion.

I don't see your point here.
Is it the breeders fault an owner gave up on this dog?

Is it the dogs fault it was abused?
I'm sure everyone here can agree that at one time or another they have misjudged someone, maybe the original seller of this dog did just that when screening this buyer?
You name a breed of dog,I can find you one in a shelter or rescue somewhere,I guarantee it.

So far,I see a whole lot if opinion on this breed.Yes,I understand many if you would argue my using the term breed and not mutt.I'll get to that.
So,opinion. You're all here looking down on the breed, the breeder, the owners, etc, and going on and on,yet still no one has provided any concrete proof to support it.Frankly I find it a bit disappointing.
Is it the most attractive dog?Not by a long shot but I can site examples of breeds that only a mother could love;)
Breed.Yep,I would consider it a breed,as from what we have read they breed true...after 40 years they damn well should.

So,like I said I probably won't post on this anymore as I just see it from a different angle than you guys.
I'm more than willing to learn,I'm more than willing to admit I'm wrong...if some one here can show me something.
