I gave my friend one of the 5" ones for her IG and I bet it lasted that little boy about a month. Every night he would bring it to dad to run it under warm water for a minute and he really enjoyed it that way.
I still have a couple 10 or 11" ones from Duluth Trading but I'm going to wait until hubby goes on a hunting trip to give it to them in case they are messy. LOL
Don't ask me why this 7 month old thread popped up but I figured I might as well post in it as long as it was there.
Wasn't there a thread on these complaining that they changed the recipe or something? I haven't bought one for a while since I bought the big pack and still have some left. But am I recalling that correctly? Maybe I'll do a little search on it.
I have been using what we all have found to be a great addition for chew time....just received a new bag, and they are just flat rolled, and not knotted as my previous bag...and the label has changed. Typically, I have experienced when they change the label on something; the ingredients have changed. Everything looks the same on the ingredients; but not the same! Falcon had the last knotted one I had left, and Glory got the new roll....she consumed it within 10 minutes, and it was in crumbs all over. Meanwhile, Falcon hadn't even put much of a dent in his. I am sooooooo disappointed...
Yep, here it is. Anyone having problems with the new ones?
I haven't ordered any more after seeing that thread. My friend did recently order some for her IG so I'll have to ask her.
Last time I ordered from there I got some 12" collagen sticks and we're lucky to get an hour out of them, even though they don't cost quite as much as the bully sticks.
I got a package of 6" ones at TSC. Asha ate one in less than 5 minutes. Supposed to be pretty good nutrition/health thing, but def not for a relaxing chew fest.
Had to comment. Got some a couple weeks ago. Took Sasha several hours to get through one. Bully/collagen sticks are 10 min tops. BUT the cheek rolls gave her terrible gas! Not sure the quiet afternoon was worth the odor!
That's interesting since I've never noticed it with our dogs. So far the only thing I've noticed that gives them gas are the Zukes training treats in a certain formula that I can't remember now. My friend recently gave them a package of the Zukes chicken training treats (not all at once LOL) and it didn't give them any.
Yeah, I haven't noticed any gas with Annie either. And I just gave her one yesterday or was it Sunday? I think it was Sunday LOL gosh, the day is just rolled into one.
