OMG! Legend is all grown up! He's looking fantastic and so is Bacall.

Plus, I do have a space in my heart for Rotties, but I haven't known one personally now for almost 20 years. Is that a pet or is she going to do some working stuff?

I have been helping training her. She belongs to my best friend KB, that is moving to Roatán with us.
I feel guilty because I encouraged her to get a puppy, which she has not had in over 25yrs.
She always adopted her dogs from a breed specific rescue.
Last March she lost her 12.5 yr old PWD and it devastated her extremely bad
Stupid me said “get a puppy” then you can raise it as you want.
I started researching breeders for Rottweilers since she loves Rotties.
I got the trainer involved and we found a breeder in Tx that breeds working line Rotties.
Key word : ‘Working Line.’ I sort of downplayed that aspect and said I would help do the daily training while she was at work and then we could train together after work (we work together at Vet Hospital)
We go to weekly classes for group and one class for private training so KB is religious with training, it’s just that this spicy little girl can be a handful and couple that with being smart and you have a “Scotch Bonnet” level of temperament.
I introduced her to the prong and now the e collar.
She responds extremely well to me now.
I just love her spirit and sassy nature. She learns quickly and Legend really enjoys her and is very tolerant of her ‘possessive toy behaviors’. I am working on that hard and heavy. No resource guarding allowed!!
When they are crated then Bacall and I have our girls time together.
Bacall is the most attentive and obedient girl ever. All she wants is to please everyone.
You will be seeing a lot of her with Bacall and Legend on the forum.
He looks much bigger than he is in this picture.
Bacall is much taller than him.
He is still growing though.

I'll be looking forward to it, no matter what kind of training it is! But (hint hint) the bitey sports forum has been way too quiet lately. Me included.

Zucchini purée ice cubes for Kaiser. He didn’t like the raw vegetable but the cube is nice.

Interesting! I put mine to a food processor along with cucumbers celery and carrots and freeze. I'd like to try this too. Did you add water or anything or just chop up zucchini? I still have a few left in the garden!

I did add a bit of water to the bottom of the blender and I chopped the zucchini into 4 long pieces.

Moo's favorite days!!
We've struggled with convincing him to jump off the ledge of the dock so our trainer put out a table that sits just under the water right off the dock. Well... that was no issue! Moo jumps from the dock, to the table, and then into the water but this is big progress for him! He's kind of a sensitive boy so building up his confidence is what we've been focusing on.

I love it and what creative thinking!! Does he jump from the ramp to get out of the pool? That first hurdle of getting into the pool from the dock is the hardest!!! We tried everything with Ripley; all positive from ramp only to coaxing with us in the pool to excitement with all her friends jumping off without her. That last one got her soooo close. Auntie Lacey had enough of it! After a few weeks trying everything, knowing she was SO close she simply held her in place at the end of the dock so she couldn't back up and Ripley was like, " well, I have no other option from here than jumping ON mom in the pool" and that's what happenedMoo's favorite days!!

After that we allowed it to be her choice and now you can't keep her out. She's a little fish! But she needed that guiding hand or else she wasn't going to get over it lol.- Status
