Not all supplements are created equal.
Even though they are only just over 1yr old I would have a Full Thyroid Panel done? Since Dobes in general are prone to Hypothyroidism issues. Also especially Fawn and Blue Dobes most will develop CDA (starting early at 2yrs old) or Color Dilution Alopecia.
Some Fawns and Blues that come into the rescue with skin issues are given Melatonin and Biotin therapy for canine alopecia (hair loss in dogs). The starting dose for Melatonin 3mg every 8 hours. Sometimes it helps.
Also Biotin (approximately 5 mg Biotin/10 kg (1kg = 2.2 pounds) body weight per day.
Biotin is a B-Vitamin so its also in the B-50 and I would not give it with the B-50.
So talk over these options with your Vet.
Try and use an all Organic Shampoo with a Conditioner. Lots of shampoos will have harsh ingredients in them.

We give
Organic Coconut Oil.
Omega 3 Fish Oil made from Sardines and Anchovies. About 3,000-4,000mg a day.
Also give canned Sardines (in Water) 3x's a week.
Organic Raw Egg everyday. Or lightly scramble them on low heat and keep them looking wet. Heat destroys Vitamins, Amino Acids and other nutrients!
We raw feed and give raw liver.
