Little dude won’t gain weight.

Here’s his poop after dinner. Hardened up thankfully. I placed him in his crate after eating since he likes to spaz and run around after eating.
Aww man....I grabbed my plate of food and went to the bedroom to eat in front of my two pups, (builds character you know :D), just as I put a piece of smoke sausage in my mouth I clicked on this posts. Sausage went flying out of my mouth, score one for the pups. :green:
I forgot you were going to post a picture. Lol

Ok, I have been giving mine 4lbs a day each and they are maintaining their weight. If I feed less I will see the weight drop pretty quick.
That's what Drogon needed to maintain also.

Like others I'd recommend just kibble for now + some food for reward training I assume. I went through a few different brands of kibble before I found one that gave my boy as solid stool as in your pic. Weigh him weekly. He should be gaining weight every week, if he isn't then you'll want to increase his food. Just for reference my boy gained 10 pounds (give or take) every month from age 4 months - 8 months.

My impression is that I would not be worried about the weight you list for his age. I also am not worried about his condition I see in the pictures.

I'm no expert, but I'd drop the Dyne and the raw. Give him a good amount of high quality kibble, spread over three feedings and he'll turn out how he is naturally going to turn out.

I’m feeding him right now, I put 3 cups of food in. No dyne or raw, dudes been slowly eating more and more everyday. Yesterday he ate 5 cups of food. Hoping I can get him to eat 6 cups today. Also hoping for less poop frequency with only using the dry kibble.

Also will report back with his next stool which should be within 30 minutes.

censored. He had a blowout and diarrhea and soft poop in his crate while I put him in for his nap after meal and tried to clean up his first poop.
Well shoot. Remember that a change in diet can throw things off. Maybe just give it a little time. Sheesh, seems sensitive g.i. systems are a problem in our awesome breed! I tell ya', when we fostered a bully breed I could change foods "cold turkey" and she had no problems with the stool. Remained fine. So, with all our specialized breeding, sometimes a mixed breed has something very right where we are getting it quite wrong.

Might be the totw, Ive heard mixed reviews about totw never used it, some dobies seem to do fine on it others not so much. It could also be the flavor as I noticed with mine he does best on the lamb and rice flavored kibble OR chicken and rice grain free, or if I can only get acana then, I switch him to a singles blend, anything outside of those and his stools go to mud butt
