Wow they've grown up and look great! They just got the chicks in at our store about a week ago, but we are way behind many of you.

weird! @JanS any help? As I start to type the user name, it pops up for me to click on the name of whoever I'm tagging, but sometimes it doesn't pop up, always still tags for me though...

Wow, that is odd. What device are you using and are you using Tapatalk?
I usually wait for the username to pop up after I start typing it too, but it should work anyway if it's spelled exactly the same, which it looks like it is.

I bought some for our wild birds and thought I'd try to toss a few in the big fish tank. Wow were they a hit there too!

I didn't want to get into the chicken forum. I get so over whelmed with the farm stuff...... I NEED SOME HELP>
I have 2 fawn & white India Runners(1M-1F), 2 Blue India Runners(1M-1F), 4 White Crested(2M-2F), and 4 Cayuga's (2M-2F). They are coming on 1year in May. They started laying eggs a month ago. I had started collecting them to put
them in the incubator. I had enough to put 32 in. Then I figured I would let them keep the rest and try to hatch
themselves. Well a week ago, I started noticing that eggs were missing, from their nests. Even the 1/2 buried ones
were gone. Each time the eggs come up missing~ I can't see any foot prints. (But the Ducks already have walked
over them- I'm sure.)There are NO broken shells. I have my ducks in the open, covered back of the barn, with a 6
panel dog kennel around the opening for them to get sun ect......So the critter had to climb to get the eggs.
Do you think it's Raccoons? If so how do I get rid of them? I'm scared it will start eating my ducks.
Tonight I'm going to put my Brussels Griffin out there. I will put him in a see through pet carrier.
Hoping to scare(with barking) whatever it is away. Any suggestions? This year I really wanted to sell ducklings and eggs
at chicken swaps. ......That idea doesn't seem to be getting anywhere!

Could be ground squirrels.
Have any grey squirrels around?
I didn't know they would do that but I had a guy working for me who was having the same problem.
So he installed a camera.
His English was a bit spotty but I asked if he was sure it wasn't a rat.He says "not unless the rat,he grow a bushy tail"
Install a go pro or something in there!

Had an electric blue cichlid for about 7? years.After he died we got rid of the tank,it was a few months after we got Daisy.

I got that fish for free from a Petco.Someone else's life hit a wall and he had to get rid of his fish so he took them there for someone to "adopt". He was one of several blues given up and was closest in size to the yellow we had.
We were hoping they would live in the same tank,they didn't.He was by far the meanest cichlid I had had.
The yellow was content to have a few crabs or snails in there and a cleaning cat of some sort.Not this blue,he ate everything.

Wow, I didn't know that. I've heard the electric blues (depending on which species you're talking about) don't get along really well with some.

As for chickens, today I was watching the chicks at the local store. They're very young and tiny yet and there one one poor little thing that was flipped over on it's back and struggling. It struggled and struggled trying to right itself but just couldn't do it and it was looking really stressed at that point. They have signs all over saying not to touch them, but I just couldn't help but reach in there and turn it right side up or I thought it might die at this age. Are they really in trouble if that happens, or was I just being too motherly? LOL

My friend in Florida with chickens has been busy,he and his wife have become ate up with it chicken nuts.
They had to take this guy back,one of their chicks ended up being a dude(sort of a polar opposite of Bruce Jenner )

Dave said they seemto like riding in the box in the car.

The mail order chicken coupe they got

Dave built a cart for it so they can move it around

The finished (for now,but I know Dave,it will be expanded soon enough) system with auto feeder etc.

She spelled it wrong.

@WiglWerm I always wait to see what pops up as i type so that I get it spelled correctly. You got the right idea, just the wrong spelling so it didn't 'tag' because it's not a valid member.
