This was Sunday, January 11th when it was a nice day temperature wise but we still had snow on the ground. It was the first time in a while that I was able to ride and what fun plowing through the snow! Still, I wasn't out for very long. Our son and grandson were visiting and I was able to get on the other side of the camera for once!!

This is my heart horse, Cheyenne. "Ankle" deep in snow. :wacky:

How long did it take to find a horse to match your ear muffs? Your reaction: :spit:

I agree with @Lexi Lou there.

Your black male is pretty awesome looking. He's got what I was referring to the other day when I mentioned that sort of black "wash" over the chest markings and the snout markings. I love that.

Actually your boy has a similar look to the eyes to what my late boy had. It's intense, but at the same time looks kind of concerned or worried. I remember well seeing a pic of my last pup before I went to pick him up (and before I decided if I was going to). There were two in the litter. One had that worried look to the eyes, and his brother did not. The breeder's friend wanted the brother and I got the one with the worried look. That look carried on throughout his life. I'll have to see if I can dig up a pic and post it.

Yeah we do, hard not to this time of year. Wish I had your photographer abilities. No matter the quality of a camera, still a mediocre result for me. Gotta say tho, the digital aspect is way better than what we dealt with in the film and development issues of yesteryear.
