Litter Dilemma

Things actually worked out with this breeder. We had a person to person talk, not buyer to breeder, and we were able to work things out. I now have Flint. He is big, strong, healthy, happy and stable. I got his embark DNA results back and he is clear for all doberman breed genetic issues with the exception of 1 copy for DCM 2. He is brave and easy to train (though he is at the age where he is pushing boundaries and being a butthead on occasion).

We will have our challenges, but overall I am very happy with my boy.

I guess I should update this too. Flint was from Mother B, as Mother A ended up with a whole litter of runty looking pups and Mother B's pups were bigger and healthier looking. I gambled, but I won. Mother A looked better on paper, but Mother B had the superior uterus I guess. Flint was clear of all things with the exception of one copy for DCM 2. His brother from Mother A that was born on my birthday turned out to be Affected with vWD. Bullet dodged.
