Me and my girlfriend were sitting at the kithcen table when we heard the door bell ring. I looked outside and no one was there. A few minutes later it rang again. I went out the back door and around the house and I didn't see a thing. We have a wrap around porch, which I put a small gate up for the pup who is almost 4 mos. old. I looked out the front side windows by the door when I came back in the house. Suddenly a two paws came up and the door bell rang. I thought, hmmm...if I could get him to ring the door bell when he wants back in....LOL! Problem is, when the door bell rings, the big boy inside barks so loud ya need ear plugs! :doggyhug2:

That's cool! I can see what you mean about the doorbell starting a barking frenzy inside the house though. That wouldn't be fun... Maybe you could teach the pup to ring another sort of bell.

LOL, that's funny! That would be way cool to have something like a doorbell inside and out if they could learn to let you know when they want to go either way.
I hear ya on the doorbell driving them nuts though. I could just shoot some of the companies who have ads on TV with a doorbell to get your attention. :hairpull:

I may have read on here where their dog rings a bell to go out.

Doorbells on TV sound the alarms here also....GEEZ.....get out the earplugs!

My house sits 700 feet off the road, so the boys keep an eye on things. But I felt like a fool walking around the entire house thinking maybe my nephew was screwing with me. LOL! The button for the doorbell has a light on it. Lil' schitt cracks me up!

Ha ha ha! How clever! Spock has only ever rang the bells to go out never the doorbell to come in. But then again he's never really had access to it. Kudos to your boy for figuring that out! Gotta get that on tape.
