The website is nothing but funny and scary at the same time!
We have one piece of property that is not connected to the rest. It will be soon because we just bought the connecting piece. We close on it next week. We went over there today and Riley had a blast! I got a few pics.I'd love to see more pics of him!
Little turd likes to hide when you try to take a pic.
I got one because he was distracted checking out the pond.
Then he got the zoomies. Check out the runaway ears!

He is still so puppy looking but that look over his shoulder says a lot. So much character! And zoomies! Does he try to clip you on the way past?
OMG! He's sooooooo puppy but he's so big that he is extra clumsy. It's kinda enteraining to watch.
He sort of crouches down and launches himself when he starts to run. I have to close my eyes so I don't move because I don't want him to take me out! He hasn't gotten me yet but I struggle to trust his goofy self not to lay me out!

I think so, actually hope so cause he was well on his way to a giant!
It's been kinda busy around here since all the tornadoes hit so poor Riley and his growth have kind of taken a back seat.
I met a friend for breakfast this morning at a place I knew was dog friendly so Riley came along. He did pretty well, especially when the other dog left. 
Not all Riley's fault because the other dog was a little yappy mutt that was "just too cute to be mean to" according to his owner.* SIGH*
I haven't weighed in a bit because he's a giant and I can't hold while standing on the scales. So we stopped at the Vet on the way home .
He weighed 90.6lbs. He'll be 8 Mos old on the 26th.

Ugh, I hate that attitude. I don't care what size the dog is, they all need training.

Good job being a good boy out in public. At 8 months that's a big ask for an independent, excitable teenager. And he's going to be HUGE!
I think they are very similar to dobies in the size category and 90 lbs is at the upper end. I have no idea where we're going to end up. At this point I don't really care cause he stole my heart. He is a bit thin so I just upped his food a bit because the warm weather bought on more activity.
Agreed! I can't stand a person that lets their dog behave like that.
I'm glad he wound up in your good hands since many people probably couldn't handle it and I'm sure they're pretty powerful dogs.

Looking back I can be thankful that Jazz had so many Dobe traits to go with the Ridgy. The velcro offset the independence to a degree once we had earned each other's respect. Not sure I would have managed a large full RR male. Yes, he's lucky he found you!

Last Sunday we were in the wooded area of a memorial park, and here comes this guy and his unleashed miniature poodle. Poodle starts running at us, Angel is saying "Get back" and I'm body blocking poodle. Mr. Ineffective tries to call her back and she ain't going. She was at least polite with her butt sniff. He tells me she's very friendly. I was already in a mood so he got.
I care about teaching my puppy how to act and that other dogs aren't threatening -- and when he's full grown, you will be glad I did.
Protect your dog -- ya ding-dong -- you have no idea about the dog (and it's person) she's running up to.
