ANY breeder breeding specifically for color, especially colors not in the standard, should be called out. This is sick. If the just advertised Multicolor Cross Breed Dogs for Sale I wouldn't care, but to label these Dobermans?
They tout "health testing," but like so many subpar breeders, they mean running DNA tests.
Yeah, any Doberman breeder who breeds for color (and that is clearly the most important thing to this breeder) should not be breeding. Well, unless a breeder is trying to achieve the original black & tan/rust.
I am currently less emotionally/mentally invested in this breed; but it is still quite upsetting to see.

Oh goodie Courtney is still around. We've had are tangles before because I DO call out breeders. She used to breed horses as well and they were the saddest looking creatures ever. I think there at least a couple of threads on here about her.
I can't contact her because she blocked me but the rest of you be my guest! Hopefully someone will say the thing that makes her STOP!

Actually it was a call-out by a dog person explaining what to look for in ethical breeders of ANY breed, and what to look for in red flags. Obviously this was the Red Flag example. I'm pretty sure Dobermans are not her breed, I'll see if I can find it, I can't remember the name - she did not mince words.

This upsets me how in the world is this right in saying Akc registered healthy dobermans when they breed for z factored. Grrr. Color doesn’t matter? Really?
On today’s edition of purebred doesn’t mean well bred we are looking at NWR kennels: mixed breed dogs, intentionally breeding albino dogs, improper health testing, lack of titling, and breeding for...
