Summer events group gatherings

im not sure about some of the other areas but I’m located in eastern Tennessee and there is great hiking trails and more but little pet activity or groups near me, I know there are a few other members near the Smokey mountains region and am considering putting together a Dober/dog day this is just in the planning stages and would be planned later in the year I have some ideas already including a hike with a scavenger hunt for the dogs along the way, a picnic, and possibly what I would call a shock the city walk ,which I believe would be a way for us to shed light on some of the negativity's around our great breed with people (forget the closed minded jerks) . All dogs would be welcome to join (must be on there best behavior) I’d like to know if any forum members would be interested in participating, help plan or any involvment would be appreciated. Also this is still very much in the planning all ideas are open welcome and on the table. The date will be selected around the schedules of the participating parties so as to make it as easy on everyone’s schedule as possible.

If anyone knows of anything else going on within the area I’d love to hear about it as well.

Dober gatherings are so much fun!

Another thing to try is Facebook groups. I found one in my city but no one ever gets together. Instagram might also have it.

I'm a long way away but it would definitely be fun for anyone in the vicinity. One of these years we'd like to find a central place in the US where all of us DCF members could get together for a weekend of fun and Dobermans.

Back in the day I worked for a top 500 group company and we had location issues all the time, so we decided to rotate every other year on get togethers... East coast- west coast...it worked out that half went to both....just saying.

Something like that would even be doable I personally wouldn’t care if it was just a few people showed up or if it was a large group
