Vera texted me that there was a change in plans. Rumor will be cropped on Saturday also. Come home day is getting close, are you as excited as I am? I can't hardly wait!

I'm extremely excited but unfortunately I'll not be able to see Gelert until mid Jan 2017. Euro regs require that he receives his rabies shots no younger than 3 months old and then there is a three week wait to ensure he's all clear so I'll not see him until he's 15 to 16 months old. I guess you'll meet up with Rumour around mid December?
I'm excited at the arrival of Gelert but also saddened by the news that my 12 year old Dobermann "Rain" who was staying with my former wife, passed away peacefully in his sleep last night. He had a good life and was a typically sweet and goofy friend.

RIP Rain we'll all miss you.

I'm so sorry you must have all sorts of mixed emotions going on right now. Sounds like Rain had a great life though, so blessed to have a happy, full filled life.

LOL, no. It's a lot more casual in the UKC and I've even seen people wearing slippers in the ring, but usually clothes should be quite a bit better, even though I refuse to wear a dress.

I hope so. I think it will be more bittersweet. My first Christmas with Rumor but also my first without my Greta. I lost her in January. Such a special girl, I miss her so much.

Rarely do I leave the county as it's just unbelievably stunning.
I have ventured to Cardiff though. Saw Dolly Parton on stage a few years back. She was amazing!!
