Don't feel bad about asking for pictures! I wasn't getting enough of my puppies or Aria, so I drove my webcam three hours to Wichita to install it at my breeder's house so I could see my babies whenever I wanted. LolWell I'm kinda losing my mind. I sent Vera a message saying I could use a puppy fix. This poor woman is probably regretting the day she said she would sell me a pup. I ask constant questions and most likely drive her crazy with picture request. I try my best to be careful how I word things. Between the laungage barrier and different cultures, I certainly don't want to offend her. But surely she understands she is in charge of caring for my baby? There is no life outside of that, right?
I will say Drake's injury came at a good time. We had gotten kinda lax on the crate. He is such a good boy and doesn't really spend much time in his crate any more. So this time in the crate has been good for him. He's gonna need to be used to it. I'm still not sure what I am going to do about the spay/neuter thing, so crate time will be a must.
Oh and to make sure I have my bases covered, let's make a list of puppy supplies. It's been awhile since I had a pup (a real one, not one that still acts like one) in the house.
Let's I have a brand new crate. Collars in varying sizes, lots of durable toys. Still deciding on food. Drake is on a rotation diet, not sure I want to do that while she is a pup. I'm sure there is more I have forgotten so throw your ideas out there.
Honestly I don't. She is my girl after all. From what I am hearing from the breeder she thinks I'm funny because most people don't ask for pics like I do. I think that's weird, who doesn't want to share every part of their pups life? Am I crazy?

I got a text from Vera this morning. Crop day is Thursday!
She also shared a few things about Rumor. She said Rumor is a very smart girl and very sweet. She has no fear! She had Rumor with her while she was doing stuff in the kitchen. She intentionally dropped a bowl to see the reaction. Scare her? NO! Rumor attacked it!
I found another way to help pass the last very looonnggg weeks. All my dogs have an ornaments on our tree. Since Rumor will be here for Christmas we just can't leave her out. I made her ornament. It's drying so when it ready I will take a pic and post it.

I'm sure she will. She did say she is going to get more shots with the good camera before they are cropped.
I got another text from her. She said Rumor has no fear. She is always the first one to try new things. She set them in front of the steps and Rumor just went straight up like she was walking down the hall.
I'm pretty excited to bring this confident little girl home. We are going to have some fun together!

Vera texted me that there was a change in plans. Rumor will be cropped on Saturday also. Come home day is getting close, are you as excited as I am? I can't hardly wait!
