I've checked the Liparland Facebook page - the link on their site leads to Goran Milosevic - but I dont see any photos of the G litter

I know she is. I can feel it. This has been a pretty emotional journey for me. But somewhere deep I knew Greta would want me to love again, She left me with all this love in my heart after all. Definitely bitter sweet.
It's hard letting that leash go after holding it so long and through so much...

Goran is her husband. Don't know why they have the website linked to his page Vera does the posting. If you want updates friend Vera Milosevic.
 
So I have been trying to keep myself busy for distraction purposes. I decided to look into different clubs to see where we want to train. I found one online that sounded perfect. They offer lots of different types of training. Everything from nose work to conformation. And the bonus....not real far from my house, maybe 20-25 minute drive. So hubby and I take a ride out there this weekend. We just went in and sat down to observe. Very disappointing experience. It was the advanced obedience class and they all looked like beginners. Nobody was holding a sit or down. Dogs running off everywhere, some major chaos going on. Somebody from the club came over to talk to us after about 15-20 minutes. It seems they left a few facts off their website. Like they only do positive reinforcement training. I'd say that's not working for them.
So still looking. I hope to find a place that offers lots of different kinds of training. I'm open to just about anything and want to try lots of things to see what we like.
 
Well it's good you checked them out ahead of time so you can continue looking for a better place.

I actually discontinued my subscription to The Whole Dog Journal since they push only positive reinforcement and slam anyone who would be so cruel as to use something like a prong collar. :thumbdown:

Finding a place to train is as hard as finding a breeder. I personally don't understand positive reinforcement with the exception of in the beginning when they are just babies. For me discipline does not work without consequences. Does it work for some dogs? Maybe??
I just know that Drake would walk all over me if I used that method with him. Probably actually laugh at me if I said here. He'd look at me with the "perfected by Drake" smirk that says who's gonna make me?
From what I know about Rumor, she's gonna need more than a treat and a good girl. We have all seen the little monster knock her bigger than her brothers out of the way to get what she wants. That one is gonna be a handful!

I'm in the St. Louis area and he is in the Kansas City Area so the answer is the other side of the state. @Doberman Gang was here for a trial a couple of weeks ago and we talked about me coming there for training. I will definitely be making some trips across state for him to help me refine our training. He was made some great contacts also so I will be referring to him for tips on a good club here.
I have a lot of respect for his opinion and the best part is he is very open minded and willing to help no matter your goals. Every dog owner needs a @Doberman Gang in their life.
