Oh fun Art! Morgan is beautiful too!

I love Jack Hannah and watch him whenever I can. He also makes regular appearances on the Tonight Show.

Very cool OB. Morgan is a very handsome boy! I will make it to Westminster some day...as an observer as I doubt any of my dogs will ever qualify :) I just want to go soak it all in!

So jealous, Art! How cool! Morgan sure is a looker. Love his bone substance. Jack Hannah does one of the late night shows and a Saturday morning show about animals for kids. I used to watch both, lol.

It's an enjoyable experience because Westminster has a bit more pizzaz than other shows. The AKC has a booth there selling tchotchkes and tee shirts, Westminster has a booth selling clothing and hats (I got a white hat last year, this year I got a black hat) and the jewelry vendors charge twice as much ;). I bought Cooper a new black, gold and silver Martingale for his show collar. The facility is much nicer with full carpeting in the ring area, the rings had plenty of space between them instead of sharing ring gates and there's seating around the ring (no bringing your folding chair and fighting to get space). All the dogs in all the breeds are gorgeous! We wandered around the bench area and talked to many of the owners, who were taking the time to talk instead of being rushed as they normally are in most other shows. I held Morgan for a while and enjoyed introducing spectators to a friendly Doberman and having his picture taken by the press.

I hope everyone can get there at least once.

PS - Sabrina's breeder took Best of Winners in Shelties yesterday.

@obbanner Thank you for those amazing pics! So cool to have the view of someone that was actually there! Amazing story about Morgan's owner walking him a few blocks to the show. No doubt there was some salt to wash off his paws and underside after the walk!

About a dozen years ago I was staying with my Dobe in a hotel in NYC where it happened some Westminster participants were staying. I shared an elevator with some of them. I'm sure they must've wondered what my cur was doing there.

Yeah, Jack Hannah is pretty famous. Surprised you haven't heard of him. :) Speaking of brushes with greatness: I saw him in a CA airport once. We were in a restaurant and I saw him just as he started running. Must've been pretty urgent to catch a flight.

From what I observed, he probably turned and ran because you were the wrong sex. ;) He stuck around and hammed it up with the fairer ones! :D

Looks more like a luge run than a walkway.
Holy cow! I thought our walkway was bad last year but it was half of yours! :woot2: We need your weather reports in the weather thread!!

Haha, I remember when we were building this house and I closed my (first) dobie in our bedroom (no carpet yet) when there were some workers there and I couldn't watch him. I came back to that room to find he was able to get under the door enough to pull a throw rug halfway into the bedroom from the hallway on the other side of the door! Looked about like your picture! :p
My buddy Morgan staring at me. (I looked away quick!)
THAT is one gorgeous Doberman!!
I guess this would be the definition of an ankle biter.
OMG, what a awesome photo catch!! Love it! (Kali does this all the time to poor Buddy!:tap: )

Albert's daily ritual after I come home from work. He has to prance around with his wubbie for a few minutes before we go out. LOL
My colors for video are still off on that camera, even though I thought I had it fixed. :sorry:

That is so cute! Sometimes Buddy will grab his blanket too. :) What is that 'wubbie'? Just a pillow or something? And he never chews it, does he? Not like Buddy with his blankets. :confused-alt:

Our first Dobie had a wubbie! It was a small baby blanket that he took everywhere, if he left it in another room it would only be a few minutes before he would go get it and come marching in with it in his mouth!
[DOUBLEPOST=1424436587][/DOUBLEPOST]A wubbie - from the movie "Mr. Mom". The little boy carried a blanket everywhere and they called it a wubbie

What is that 'wubbie'?
It's the cushion out of a dog bed. He took to that thing the day he came home so I even bought him a new one for his Birthday last year. He did chew a couple of them but this one he's left alone. KOW
