Haha I could start a thread with just the weird things I see in all these towns! Actually headed to Hope, ND tomorrow where they have... Nothing. Except a pasta plant, for some reason... And yes, a LOT of flying. O'Hare makes it easy, luckily, but I hate being away from the puppies

Indoor water parks attached to hotels is such an odd concept to me...

Really, you don't have them where you are? They're a big thing in the Dakota's, Minnesota and Wisconsin and of course the hotels jack the price way up when they have one.

I had a water view from my room in Houston a week or so ago too but it was a different kind of water that I wouldn't go in with the snakes and gators swimming in it. The view was spectacular though.

They have them in IL, too, but I'm from PA, originally, and no... Definitely no water parks in hotels that I know of!

Both. He also steals their food if he is in the pond when I feed the fish.

The koi start gathering when I walk up to the pond. They know it's time to eat.


Drake jumps in shortly after he hears the fish splashing around. He thinks he just has to have his share.
He's hanging back waiting for me to toss the food. He loves pouncing right in the middle of the fish.


Needless to say it's not very often the dogs are outside when I feed the fish.

The bear just made a mess of the trash, no harm to the ducks or their pen. The stray cat that frequents had a field day with the wreckage when he showed up later lol. I didn't put anything out last night and I had a very disappointed cat, opossum, AND old hound dog.

haha, It was a Wednesday and I was having a Negroni! At some point in my post-college drinking career, I thought I should stop defaulting to Rum & Coke as my go-to 'mixed drink;' I choose the Negroni simply because it's easy to make (1:1:1 Gin, Campari, Sweet Vermouth). It's my 'adult' drink I still love me some Rum & Coke, though!

It doesn't make him sick? Our GSP figured out how to open the cabinets under the aquariums to steal food but he once at a whole can and got pretty sick.

Hubby shampooed the carpet a couple weeks ago and elevated the couch so he could get under it but that didn't stop Albert from jumping up to get his rest. LOL
Don't ask me why the leg under his head looks crooked since it really isn't. Oh and those are dog bones he used...

He doesn't get much. It's rare the dogs get to be out when I'm feeding the fish or chickens.
What is it about food they aren't supposed to have?
I actually had to move the chicken feed. They figured out how to open it.
