I'm not sure of the outcome of the opossum vs cat fight but I'm going to say the cat because I didn't get any more photos of the opossum and the bowl was empty in the am. And yes the "other visitor" is a dog. Awhile back I caught photos of a very skinny old mama dog, fast forward few weeks I got her again. I'm not sure if this dog I just posted is the same one, but I'm guessing it's not.

And Brinks is still cute, but I do miss the puppy days!

UGH this is the second time Rubie has been snagged by something somewhere. The first time is all healed up but this one looks worse. It was just a hairy scab when I noticed it Saturday morning but she's licked all the hair off. Too late for stitches now, you think? The whole bald area is about quarter sized

Wish I knew what to suggest for the wound, but I wanted to mention checking your fence and crates for pokey areas. Since your fence is new, there may be something sticking out there?

I did think about that and walked it briefly the first time she got a boo-boo but with the style of fence it is... there isn't really anything sticking out. With the old chain link, I certainly could've imagined! Maybe I'll walk it again this evening. I took this picture when I was home for lunch... maybe the latch that goes into the dirt to keep the gate sturdy; the far left in the picture? It's an otherwise pretty smooth design.

I see the latch, that could be it. It's an awesome fence by the way. Is there a BBQ stand in the yard? Or if she rolled on to something sharp in the grass? You gotta tell us if you figure it out!

It's hard to say. Are you sure that it wasn't something from Moose? I know I have had a few injuries on my horses where I never understood where it came from either. I know that's a lot different than this because there's probably a lot more dangers out in my Corral but most of the time I think they get it from each other. My gelding, Stilt, had a 6 in gash across his hip one day that freaked me the hell out! I couldn't imagine where he got that! I checked everywhere and I never figured it out.

And by the way, I love your fence! Absolutely gorgeous. :thumbsup2::thumbsup2:

I'm preeeeeetty sure it's not Moose. It doesn't really look like a bite or scratch, just more like she drug her thigh against something. Poor dingo is all coned up again today but I've given her free reign of the bedroom (which Moose is none-to-pleased with) and after being coned just yesterday afternoon, it already look SO much better. Tit for tat :D I did order some of the Vetericyn because I doubt this will be our last wound

And thank you! We were very picky about the fence but I really love what we ended up with and the guys who installed it did an amazing job!

I love that we get to go home to these dingos every day for lunch! Started working on some agility stuff with Moose, yesterday. It's been REALLY hot but we have a giant tree that provides various amounts of shade to the backyard during the day. I just started teaching him to follow shoulders through the jumps with no bars; just the bottom support. In CPE, you don't have to be fast, just accurate :D

I got a frisbee for him when he was little, but he had no ideas about trying to catch it and instead just chewed it up so I never even considered getting any more til now. He likes to jump up and grab his other toys when I throw them so I thought why not? But this is the first time he's actually played with a frisbee - the way it was intended!! Lol
