Random Pet Photo of the Day - 2025

Soccer game last night, didn’t realize her fussing at me was to steal my chair. She missed her nap and was tired she fell asleep in the chair. She was a star at the game, lots of attention that she ate up!

She doesn’t mind the vacuum at home, but wasn’t sure if she’d care if I vacuumed my truck out. Didn’t mind one bit kept! She kept sniffing the vacuum lol

How'd it go?!
It went well! I think Remy will enjoy it. To start the trainer wanted to see where we’re at with obedience and test his drive. Now we’ll continue with foundation work and building drive. It will be awhile until the “fun” stuff but I don’t mind. It’s more important to myself and the trainer that the foundations are laid properly first.

He thought Remy has great possession, a good start to obedience, and good drive. Remy has a lot of prey drive so he loves the flirt pole style toys, but he wasn’t showing as much interest in the tug there (as he would at home.) I think he’ll open up more with that as we continue training there.

I asked someone to get some video of our turn in “protection” but they only got the last few seconds lol. I’ll try to get more next time!
I'm so jealous!!! Have fun, let him take you down that road if he will ! It's so much fun for both of you!
Thank you! I’m really curious how far we can progress. I’m not setting any expectations of trialing or anything yet. For now we’ll have fun learning and if it seems like a possibility down the road, I’ll set those goals then!

That's a perfect plan. I'd love if you'd make a thread in the bitey sports pages for Remy's progress as you learn new things. I miss it so much! ❤️

Glory made me think of Olive before I took this photo...she was ontop of Falcon! He just lays there like Elroy  But she started to mess with him to get up and play. I love how the boys are so tolerant of the girls being bossy:thumbsup:

Ragnar had 10x more training and he still would have been jumping around squealing like a silver back ape.
Squirrels have become a torture for Asha. I can make her settle in the house but only by sending her to her place where she can't see out the window. I could *probably* get her to sit like Freyja is here, if I was next to her, but she would be squealing and barking at the top of her lungs. Sometimes I let her out the door to chase one and she's squealing/barking/spinning while I'm trying to open the door. That photo of Freyja is great.

We had just spent hours de-dogging the house ahead of the Derby party on Saturday but hadn't yet dropped the dogs off at boarding (sounds backwards, I know!) for the night. Rubie was like... oh, hm, nice clean couch. Don't mind if I Swiss Army Knife myself right in. Moo was very upset that vacuuming had occurred.
