Dobermans, Bulldogs & Beaucerons oh my!

With recent mentions of Beaucerons, I thought some of you would find this interesting. I think it's an awesome idea for a bigger turnout, a variety of breeds, expenses divided among 3 breed clubs - and *probably* the helpers hired are experienced and delighted to work with off breeds or they wouldn't have been selected. I love to see the different breed people working together! If you're local to the NC area, it'd sure be fun to go take a look or volunteer to help for a day for UDC:

The United Doberman Club, along with the US American Bulldog Club, and the Working Beauceron Association will be hosting an IGP National Championship in Catawba, NC, on October 3-5, 2025. This collaborative event will serve as the 2025 UDC Fall Classic for Dobermans.

The trial is open to all breeds!

Date: October 3-5, 2025

Location: Bandy’s High School Football Stadium, Catawba, NC.

Wow that is interesting and what a great mix of clubs!
We saw all of those breeds this weekend, even though the Beauceron is in a different group (herding) in UKC.

How cool, and coincidental that we were just taking about Beaucerons!

I see the last name Shook in there. I bet that's a relative of Maggie Shook of Gunslinger Am. Bulldogs.

It's nice to see collaboration in the dogsport world. It reminds me of the collaborative spirit that has long existed in craft brewing.

It does look like fun.

Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to make it, but it looks like it will be a nice event! They are posting the entries to a FB page and it looks like there are 3 Dobermans entered so far. 1 for its BH and 2 going for IGP3!
