Stavros had an amazing day this day showing and finally acted like the past year of training wasn't for nothing and won! He was even loose leash gaiting and the judge couldn't keep her eyes off of him. So good when it FINALLY starts to come together 😊

I am not, 'a dog on the couch or bed', type of gal. I can't sleep with a dog on the bed. Even a small one. And I really don't want a dog all over my couch where my guests sit. I provide lots of beautiful beds for my dogs so they are not deprived! And I really don't want them on the furniture. Buddy was great about that. Not once did he get on the bed or a couch. I didn't even have to teach it.

Now, Annie has spent most of her young life in the half of the house that does not have a couch or bed. LOL So it hasn't been an issue. But once we started making a fire in our wood burner that is in our sunroom we sort of had a dilemma. Now we had to have Annie come to the 'other side' of the house. If we're going to sit in there, she does too. So we put a dog bed on the floor but eventually when someone sat on the couch, she wanted to come up. Well, that couch is always covered with a white blanket simply to keep it clean from the fireplace. So I caved. 🙄 I said we'll spend a lot of time in here over the winter so I guess it will be okay as long as it's covered. :tap:

So one day all three of us were crammed on the couch.

I told my husband, "I think we need a bigger couch."

He quipped, "I think we need a smaller dog!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
 
@MyBuddy puppy Rubie found the couch within 30 seconds of being brought home as a 10 week old and hasn't left since :rofl:

Don't know if it's the cooler weather, the time change, the fact we'd just gotten back from a "W," or what but, last night, this Dingo brought this toy over to me, set it on my leg, and stared at me :wideyed: she's been feeling a little extra lately and being very goofy!

There is really nothing better than some doberman cuddles on the couch!

It's too bad she also wants to tear it apart! I've sewn this twice and kept it away from her for a while now. Today I left it on the floor for her to find and oh my goodness! You'd think she won the lottery when she found it! She's so happy! But I have to sit here and watch her and once in a while I have to say, no biting it! You can play with it, throw it around, or mouth it. But once you start tearing at it I'll have to take it away again. This session will probably last as long as it takes to make this post. 😮‍💨

My husband hates when I tell people this; but it is true. We eventually started letting them up on the couch (years ago) and DID end up buying a bigger couch! Strickly so they could fit with us! Not so crazy to get a bigger couch ❣️
 
We had an early ringtime so I tried to find lots of pet friendly things to do so we didn’t have to spend all day in the hotel lol. IMG_2674.webp

IMG_7699.webpWent to At Home. This inflatable reindeer was 25ft tall! It was super busy and he did so well! Lots of people stopped and wanted to pet him. IMG_2696.webpThen we went back to the hotel for a bit before heading back out to a nature walk.IMG_7717.webp I never thought I’d take him to Hobby Lobby, but it’s pet friendly so we went. He was phenomenal! It was even busier than At Home and many people wanted to pet him (kids included). He got lots of complements too 🥰IMG_7728.webpLast stop was Pet Supplies Plus. He absolutely loved this employee and she spent about 10 minutes petting him since there wasn’t anyone in the store lol. Can you guys tell he loves attention? I’m probably underestimating when I say he met 2 dozen people today IMG_7738.webpHe should sleep good tonight 😂
