Random Pet Photo of the Day - 2024

such crazy mild weather here! Normally our dog park is under 2 feet of snow plus higher drifts by January, but it was sunny and above freezing today so we made the most of it. Katyusha is playing with her bestest Husky friend Loba today at the park. Yes, it often looks like this when they play, and I sometimes wonder how law enforcement hasn't come to the park to ask about a dogfighting ring yet.20240101_153943.jpg 20240101_154344.jpg
Edit: no animals were harmed in the shenanigans that took place while taking these photos.

Unusually mild weather for us too. At least up until yesterday. And more rain then we ever get in the summer! My Corral is a mess. It's never been this bad for this long. Brought the horses in last night and good God, Sandy must have been laying in the mud or something! LOL

 :groan: I had to give her a good brushing!

Someone enjoys being on vacation because he gets to sleep in the bed!

He’s not allowed to at home since my cat practically lives in my bedroom and isn’t a huge fan of Remy. One time when Remy came into my room my cat chased him out all the way to where his bed is while meowing at him the whole time 😂.

Are the hairs easily removed? I’m wondering if Remy would like these. Although I have a feeling I’d come back to find a big pile of colorful hairs next to him lol.
Uh, anything is easily removed with a determined doberman. 😅 Ripley LOVES them and Stavros did too. The Christmas ones lasted a week but honestly not bad for $10. It keeps Ripley entertained for literally hours but she does suckle the snot out of them first. Then she goes in for the kill and that is when I take it away. I'll give it back to her the next day and she'll suckle it again. Rinse repeat. Stavros, this was his first time experiencing one, first time with any kind of stuffy, so he paraded around with it with glee and playfully chomped it. They kept swapping so Ripley eventually got holes in his too... Once the stuffing flies I de-stuff them and let Ripley have one final goodbye moment with it for another day or two. 😅 If your dog chews holes in blankets or stuffies they probably won't last much longer than any other toy. But dobes that suckle love them so much!

Rip bought one at a dog show with her own money (ok, mom and dads money) but she always likes to carry it all the way through the building, past dozens of rings and to the car. It always makes people laugh 😂
