Random Pet Photo of the Day - 2024

Kali and I went out to the barn to feed the horses this morning as usual. While I'm cleaning stalls I'm always checking on her to see where she's at and what she's doing. She is always just outside the barn door, laying in the grass. That's her spot where she lays and observes the world. I can just peek out of a stall and see her.
Well, I looked out and didn't see her. I stretched my neck further. Still didn't see her. Finally I stepped out and looked outside and she was not there.
Always makes my heart stop. I start calling her. Nothing. I go back in the barn to grab the remote to her e-collar to send her a vibration and I see this.
So cute, so I stepped closer to take a picture. And when I do I realize she's giving a little quiver. That's when I realized that she was cold!
it was barely 60° when we were out there about 6:45 a.m. this morning. I had a light jacket on but I had taken it off. So I went over and laid it on top of her hoping she would leave it. Oh yeah. She did. I think she liked it. 
She didn't even get up when I drove away to take care of the manure. She's like, I'll just sit right here, thank you very much!
Ok, time to go in the house!

Wanted to take each dog for an individual walk tonight, and also can't lie by omission, wanted to see how they are with upcoming evaluations in mind. Katyusha's loose leash here was pretty representative of the entire 5 city block walk which made us both real happy with each other. Zastava did better getting home than getting there but I really liked the shadow she was casting.

The only time Asha misbehaved was when we went to check out she thought we were at PetsMart or TSC and put her feet on the counter assuming she'd get a treat. I told her to get down but she popped right back up again, insisting to the gal that this is where a treat happens.

Omg Ripley does that too!! To every "counter" or booth we go to. She did that this past weekend at a farmers market. She thinks someone behind a counter means treat time and I had to do the same as you, repeat myself when she was so persistent!told her to get down but she popped right back up again, insisting to the gal that this is where a treat happens.
I know why we wouldn't want this behavior to be automatic, but I am really relieved to know that this happens in other Doberman households too.Omg Ripley does that too!! I think it depends on the location but they are generally pet friendly! Whenever I buy dog things there they ask me what type of dog and to bring him in lol. I haven’t done it yet because it’s always super crowded in there.
Yes! I think just one guy had them all. I’m not sure if he was actually flying any, but some were staked into the sand.

Hi hi! Bitey big boy is back!
We've been working really hard on his drive and possesion, so far so good, full mouth bites and nice grip.
Bran is not suitable for bitework/igp training, sadly, but he's so cute it makes up for it

Yeah, what @remy said - maybe locations differ. I always tell them at checkout how much we appreciate it, especially traveling in the summer - you can't leave them in the motel, you can't leave them in the car and it's too hot to walk the sidewalks around town.
