As a general rule I do not allow crate sharing or 'stealing' from the other dogs crate. 'If it is inside the other crate - It does NOT belong to you' 
I think what is left of these knuckles has transferred ownership about a few dozen times now! (back and forth from one crate to the other)
Mine are old enough now and get along well enough that I am not so much worried any more about them playing games like this with each other.

No, this was in South Carolina at a state park!
Patience on the left, then Whitey ('Ass Tray Uhh' (all one word) is how her real name is pronounced) and Dystopia on the far right.
Like I said before - I don't normally 'allow' crate sharing garbage but Whitey and Dystopia fell in love as soon as they met each other and it quickly got impossible to keep them away from each other.
Seriously. If you run the one dog out of the crate that does not 'belong' to her and then the same pair of dogs just go and find a different spot to snuggle up together in - What the heck can you really do?
Whitey (a female) was a rescue and within a few months (can't remember which direction) of being the same age as the Dober girls.
Yes, The Dober girls are sisters.
No, None of these girls have ever had any issues 'getting along' with each other.

Took Moo baby to a craft fair, today!
At the bank drive-through I always go to the big space for pickup trucks. Asha has learned that dog biscuits come out of that shiny stainless box, so stares a hole in it while we wait. Probably the most unappealing photo of her head because her mouth & flews kinda melt into a puddle as she stares at the box.
