It's really cold/snowy today with a chill of at least -20 but Elroy is happy to keep himself quietly occupied.

Him and Revel just turned 5 months on the 21st.

That orange stuffy from Melissa is still alive! Ripley helped make sure they always get new stuffies periodically by sucking the life out of it.

I had it set aside after Phoebe chewed a hole in it but I sewed it back up the other day and Elroy was thrilled to have it back.

Puppies enjoyed some rolled pork skin last week. Poor Revel couldn't finish his because he had almost no teeth besides the fronts

Elroy is in that transition period were he can go from looking like a puppy to looking like an adult depending on the angle.

Wow that's unusual since the adult teeth usually come in right behind the puppy teeth. I think Elroy has most of his adult teeth now (molars, canines and front teeth), except a couple of the in between ones.

This Dingo just turned 7 but I swear looks half her age. Her littermate who I see pictures of on FB here and there is much greyer but is also black/rust. Rubie is also of the IDGAF mindset. I'm convinced it keeps her young

They were very tiny nubs under the gums.

Her littermate who I see pictures of on FB here and there is much greyer but is also black/rust.

Albert was 10.5 and he didn't have any grey and he was obviously black/rust. Even Della's littermate turned grey years before Della started showing any signs.
Maybe it has something to do with climate since we aren't as hot as some places?

I have very little grey myself, FWIW. LOL

Wow, my first thought was I'm sure the climate has nothing to do with it. But boy, you have little gray yourself?? Now that's interesting! I wonder how weather affects it though?

I don't have a clue if that has anything to do with it but super hot weather like southern TX where Della's sister lived is stressful on them.
This was my Mom at 73 and she never colored her hair in her life.

We don't live in a hot climate either. So why am I coloring my hair?

I think greying is yet another genetic trait. And as we all know, littermates can carry different genes - obviously seen in reds & blacks - but some could have the greying genes and some may not. Reckless has a greying gene as many in her family do, but then she has a littermate who doesn't show any grey at all. She started getting grey around the muzzle at age 3, now her mustache is totally white and all the hair in her foot pads is white.

LOL he grew up in southern Minnesota. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
