After I rescued her.
I had the Vet over and found out she is pregnant.
Due the latter part of July.

View attachment 131433This Diva is like a dog. She follows me EVERYwhere. She loves Bacall and when I open the gates to pull in the driveway in my truck she runs over and sticks her head through the truck window to find her treats. Mangoes, bananas, Chattas and Guavas are her favorite treats. She does not like carrots or apples. What horse doesn’t like carrots and apples.
When I walk Bacall, Chamaca (horse) insists on going with us.
Now I have the weird reputation of that lady that walks a Doberman and a horse everyday.

wonderful story.. and great rescue.. great photos...i cannot wait to see the baby foal... hope all goes well... what a difference in this girl.....

Good to hear the troop are all doing well, including Mugsy. Was Mugsy your vet practice cat before?

Love the fact that you're still saving the neglected and unwanted animals. What an improvement!

Not many places have the room to bring out Jazzies favourite green ball. Where I'm camping now she can indulge. It wears her out really quickly too so a short session is all it needs.

Yes Mugzy was the hospital cat. He and Tater always played with each other and the dobes loved him so it was only fair that he come with us to Roatán after the hospital was sold.

"Do I hear someone talking? There's another person here? Are they here for me? Can I say hi? Do they have treats?"

She loves going in the car with me. Whenever I'm putting on my shoes she is right there hoping to go with. You think dogs don't understand language? Mine does. If I tell her, "You stay here I'll be right back", the excitement drops, her tail drops and she turns around and walks away. But if I don't say a word, she is following me around the whole time, bumping my leg with her nose, knowing that she's walking out the door with me.

Asha with my friend and her 3 GSDs. She's the behavior trainer and we get together sometimes before her classes start. She has always just been into having well mannered dogs, but now I'm talking her into a little competition work - AKC obedience or a BH, so we help each other out with stuff. Asha loves this gal and her dogs. And food, LOL.

I see all of that grass on the GSD's back and it makes me thankful once again that we have Dobermans. LOL Just a little brush off for us and a full grooming session for them.

Had to laugh out loud - when I saw it I thought the same thing!

I laughed also! I noticed it right away! My Doberman and my Bernese are way too vain to walk around with grass in their hair. My lab mix though, cant get enough of rolling around and bringing dry grass in the house. The grassy one reminded me of him right away!
