These poor dingos were at doggy daycare for 24 hours while we traveled for extended family Thanksgiving. Glad they're as tired as we are after a whirlwind trip :D

AND we came across this beauty while exploring a small downtown! She is her owners 6th Dobe and he was using German commands with her. Inna (eye-nah) was her name. 5 months old, half Euro.

Rubie & Moo is like my Asha and J's Reckless - nobody gets into anyones space. At first I was a little sad that there was no snuggly stuff, but now I'm perfectly happy with it. Reckless avoids Asha like the plague - poor Asha just wants to play, punch & poke - but when I say "leave the dog" she does just that.

I'm beginning to wonder if Dobermans just understand each other better? Maybe other breeds don't quite get the way they play?

I think you hit the nail on the head there. Phoebe absolutely loves Selleck but all of our Dobermans have played together way differently than they do. I just love getting back to having two of them interact and play together.

It's defiantly been an observation of mine just watching this forum for several years. I don't recall instant buddy-ship with Ripley & Paige but they seemed to get along. That's what I see with Asha & Reckless. More toleration for Asha than anything else. But they don't play the same & I think that has some misunderstandings. Hmmmm.
