How scary!! Skynyrd would love the mud and water too. Does Jazz like to swim or does she just go up to her legs? Skynyrd loves lakes and ponds but refuses to go past step in pool.We had a stationary storm hovering over us last night. Some HEAVY rain and close and disturbing thunder and lightning. Jazz can tolerate a big storm but a few of those loud crashes made us both leap in our beds! Our local creek flooded past severe level by about 4.30am with mass evacuations from low lying areas and most roads impassable. Of course there had to be a couple of people still thought they could cross the flood and then need emergency assistance. Jazz, however, looooooooooves all the water and mud! 163ml in the rain gauge and I think that's about 6 1/2 inches!

Staying home for a few days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jazz has learned to swim very well and loves to fetch balls out in the deep, but in the early days she thrashed and splashed. I have to keep an eye on her near the flood waters as that is too strong even for a good swimmer! How scary!! Skynyrd would love the mud and water too. Yes! I never let Skynyrd in the creek after it has rained a lot. It scares me but he would jump in if I let him. Do u have to worry about crocodiles where you are? I cant remember reading what part of Australia you are in.Jazz has learned to swim very well and loves to fetch balls out in the deep, but in the early days she thrashed and splashed. WOW. Love seeing the photos though! What about mosquitoes? Do you get a load of those after a flood? Stay safe!163ml in the rain gauge and I think that's about 6 1/2 inches!
Luckily this creek only runs in the wet season so we don't even have fresh water crocs.Yes! I never let Skynyrd in the creek after it has rained a lot. It scares me but he would jump in if I let him.
