She did so well in practice today, hardly moved for the stand for exam which has been hard for her. Now to work on our homework this week to get her excited and animated to trot through the circle turns so she keeps moving out. They should be ready for her show in April and beyond! 🥰 She came home and instantly took a nap lol! 😴 And then woke up and we went for fun walk.

I'm sure most of our midwest friends got a little annoying dose of snow/sleet yesterday.

Rubie is wide-eyed like WTF and Moose is wide-eyed like YESSSSS!

Well look at that, she's actually looking at and engaging with me. There's a reason there are more pictures of Moose than Rubie :D

We had a stationary storm hovering over us last night. Some HEAVY rain and close and disturbing thunder and lightning. Jazz can tolerate a big storm but a few of those loud crashes made us both leap in our beds! Our local creek flooded past severe level by about 4.30am with mass evacuations from low lying areas and most roads impassable. Of course there had to be a couple of people still thought they could cross the flood and then need emergency assistance. Jazz, however, looooooooooves all the water and mud! 163ml in the rain gauge and I think that's about 6 1/2 inches!

How scary!! Skynyrd would love the mud and water too. Does Jazz like to swim or does she just go up to her legs? Skynyrd loves lakes and ponds but refuses to go past step in pool.

Jazz has learned to swim very well and loves to fetch balls out in the deep, but in the early days she thrashed and splashed. I have to keep an eye on her near the flood waters as that is too strong even for a good swimmer!

Yes! I never let Skynyrd in the creek after it has rained a lot. It scares me but he would jump in if I let him. Do u have to worry about crocodiles where you are? I cant remember reading what part of Australia you are in.

Luckily this creek only runs in the wet season so we don't even have fresh water crocs. :)

@Ravenbird LOADS of mozzies will arrive soon. :sour:

@jazzies mum Moo would be in HEAVEN! Holy cow!

This popped up as a Facebook memory from 7 years ago: That's my first girl, Vega, with Cooper the Shepherd and Zoey. Zoey was a backyard rescue from one of my sisters old neighbors so we assumed her to be a mutt but she looks like a Mountain Cur to me? Doubtful as I don't think there are many of them running around. Cooper and Zoey are still with us! Vega was the dog my ex kept out of spite so not sure about her but she was probably about 8 months old, here.

Trying out our new canicross belt! Great workout for both dog and person! Ripley was wiped out by the time we were done. The park was also super busy so she got lots of exposure to bikes, baby strollers, dogs, kids and large groups of people walking. Good day today! 🚴🐕‍🦺🚶🚶‍♀️

It literally feels like you are strapped to a rocket when jogging, she digs in and pulls you faster 😂

Down-stay at a busy intersection in the park. She's looking at a group of adults and kids coming up. She did well!
