We started ecollar wearing (with ecollar off) for the past few weeks. I put it on and off randomly and have her wear it in all sorts of scenarios with no rhythm or pattern to it. Recall reinforcement on the long line will start this weekend!

@Lizbeli
It is a really good conversation starter when I have a depressed patient in the gym that does not want to participate. I will purposely place them facing my office and then if they don’t take notice, I will point to the picts and try to create a discussion.

Most folks love dogs....very hard to not get a rouse of interest out of them.

That's strange... I bought one of each calendar, all puppies, all Dobermans, all breeds. None of them have that picture for March! But yes, I'm loving my calendars too!
I was wondering about that too but then I remembered "the rest of the story" as Paul Harvey would say. He missed the calendar contest deadline but I said I'd try to work his photos into one of the calendars so I put them in an older calendar that just keeps updating to the current year.

We started that with Phoebe a week or two ago since our trainer in the Cities only has a 3' fence and she doesn't want to take any chances.

We have another bird watcher...

So when I give Jasper a raw bone I lay down this big blanket that is only for his bones/kongs. After I wash the blanket it gets folded and put on top of out blanket bin in the living room.

He hasn’t had a bone in a while. Today he decided enough was enough and ripped the blanket off the bin and started doing his dobie tantrum while he unfolded the blanket! He was so sassy and dramatic!

Needless to say, he got his bone. But only after he nailed some tricks. What a spoiled dog!

Bedja put himself in a down stay for several minutes while I was having coffee, hoping that I would give in and play a game of tug. Of course I couldn't not give him what he asked for so nicely in the end. This way he learns nice behavior pays off, as opposed to shove and push. He also refines his skill of manipulation, lol.tempImagePHPr6X.png
