I empathize about nails.. Joe's broken toe has kept me from touching that foot for 5 weeks now! I don't know how I'll ever be able to catch up.. I've been trying to keep up with the other three paws... It's very sad to see how deformed his foot is now.. :( He has just 8 days more to go before the vet rechecks it.. at least hopefully he'll be able to go back to full activity .. He's not very happy with the limited exercise he's had for 5 weeks.. It seems like a lot longer and Rush has made it really complicated as well. :( Add the awful heat and smoke we've had here and none of us are happy campers! I'm hoping to see light at the end of the tunnel soon. Sorry for the whine.. lol I really am trying to make the best of it all. ;)

Oh man that has to be tough all around. :(

Well Phoebe got two group 3's but this was her very first time in the ring or in a show setting for that matter. One of our trainers friends took her in the ring for me so it took Phoebe a little time to get used to her and vice-versa. She looked so much better in the second show and our trainer said the same thing too. The judge said she's a really nice dog but just needs to gain a little more confidence in the ring and that will come with experience.

A little pre-ring practice.

Hey she got out there and got experience! Keep it fun for her! Who cares if she's being a wild child, just make it and keep it fun! When she leaves the ring, always play with her. That tail will come up and she will get more confident.

I love ALL of them. Training every day!

Well, I finally got around to sharing pics of Ranger. He was significantly underfed when we picked him up (10 lbs. less than Shylah at that age/8 lbs. less than Renee at that age). He has managed to gain 7 lbs. since then and has filled out quite nicely. Poor thing got to get his first stacking lesson (I've been studying the GSD stack); it wasn't perfect (he wouldn't stand still in the sun, so we had to find a shady ledge) but decent. If Shylah fills out as I hope by the end of the month, we will get another stacked picture (proper stack finally) of her for the first time in four months. Ranger has decent conformation except for his lopsided ears.

Comparison from when he was first picked up...he is darkening up already. This seems typical of sable GSDs. To go from dark puppies, to very light, then darken back down before they finally lightenprocessed (9).jpeg up somewhat to their final shade.IMG_6217.JPGIMG_6219.JPGIMG_6222.JPGIMG_6241.JPG

Sorry mods for the number of photos...

@Rosa start a new thread for the baby and post alllllll the pictures!

We took the puppies to Tails on Trails today's they both did SO WELL. so many dogs, kids, people, things going on. We walked through the tents and crowds to start and then got out onto the trials for a while.

It was quite hot today even though we were out early.
