OH LAAAWWWWD! I am right there with you all! Mauser who just actually turned five months on the 17th and we are still struggling every day with the biting, and it is more so for me only! He knows not to ever get mouthy with our two kids and my husband can stop him pretty quickly but for some reason with me he just doesn't quit so I end up just wrestling with him and get him to try to bite his lip or make him know he is hurting me. I will redirect him and tell him to give me kisses as well, its so funny because he knows when hes near my face he licks me but my arms and hands and BUTT are bite worthy! so so frustrating, especially because he nips me at the dog park and I feel like people are judging me as a dog owner
But some of the people there are real nice and there are other dobes and we swap teething stories LOL! It is really comforting that I am not alone with the dobershark struggles. His teeth are actually falling out and his adult teeth are coming in so now when he bites me its so funny because its like gums chomping down on me, and more slobbery!! I can't wait to see the light at the end of the tunnel, maybe 6-7 months??? someone say yes!!

by the way, he also seems to be a little more attached to me than my husband, but that could be because I am the one that usually takes him for walks and dog park. he loves to sit in front of me and rest his snout on my face while I scratch his neck and chest, it is the sweetest!
Here we are being couch potatos, four days before he turned 5 months.
