Nap time I guess

Same here.

I have one that stands up to Ragnar and does a Mike Tyson on him.

The other runs and hides which makes it worse.

Ragnar just wants to play but jeez, he is just way too rough. His nose poking and paw punching, let alone sharp teeth-- just too rough.

I wish that 1. Rubie was more accepting of the cat and 2. the cat would use her gosh darn claws and stand her ground. A few sharp smacks to the face and Rubie would develop an appreciation for the fiesty feline. Cat just runs and hides which drives Rubie CRAZY.:wtf3:

It could go the other way with the nails too. If you have a confident dog they could turn into the ugliest demon you've seen when a cat challenges them. We discovered this response for the first time with my parents GR meeting our cat with claws. My cats are very dog savvy and co-exist peacefully with the girls. Non-cat savvy dogs on the other hand... :cat:

interestingly enough... my parents have a cat with NO claws but that cat lives with 4 large dogs. The husky will provoke him every once in a while but mainly they leave him alone. Rubie actually doesn't even bother him and I THINK it's because cat just sits there and goes "whaddoyouwant, dawg?" in like an old man, sneery voice and doesn't pay any attention to her. If Stella kitty would just go about her business and ignore Rubie, it would be totally fine.

@ButterGluttons Cute puppy and cute cat! Very cool they get along!
