Falcon's page

Just catching up here and, wow, very impressive! He is doing great! How old is he? He looks so young to be so good at sitting on that little stool (1st video) jumping the hoop, healing and watching you so well! Good job!!

Edit: ha, I didn't finish reading I guess! 5 months! He's looking good!

I know it's a 'fault' at some point but... that white patch on his chest is too frickin' cute!
It looks borderline but it's probably within the acceptable range, which is 1/2" square or the size of a dime.

It is interesting that the Americans accept a small spot as @JanS mentioned; and the Europeans do not allow ANY white. I had never seen it on a chest before, but had seen it on one toe on puppies, that would go away as they aged. It will be interesting to see what happens to this little 'star'....

Falcon went to his first car show this weekend, and was wonderful. It was loud, with cars revving, and music, so we walked around for about 10 minutes for him to take it all in, then left. He sat for petting, and was not fearful at all. I was so proud of him! He even was able to focus for a bit to do some heeling with me!IMG_2333.webp

So cool and he looks so grown! Yay for you two a great place to go and expose him.

I never thought of that since it doesn't interest me, but that would be a great environment of distractions. They have a big one here in August so I should try to remember that.

It's at the park I walk my dogs first thing in the am. They have a few car shows there during the warmer months, and set up first thing. That is when I am there :) So it's not sweltering hot, with too many people or dogs. Cars pulling in and registering, people setting up tents, the announcer playing music and speaking of the days events. It is always a great time to socialize. Clarke & Glory always enjoyed roaming watching the activity and getting attention. I walked these two separately that day, so I could really work Falcon.

That is great! The car show reminds me of our first time taking Kaiser out in a busy sort of event and I really thought he'd be bonkers but he did amazing and my confidence in him grew so much after that!

The boat outing is just wow, I always imagined Kaiser would jump off it and then I'd have to jump in to rescue him and we'd both drown in the panic  Did they show any signs of doing anything that stupid? LOL, or did Falcon just follow Glory's lead and stay put?

I know what you mean....Glory has been on the water numerous times, and she never tried to even get up on the seats to see over. But I also kept her on lead. I kept the leash on Falcon. I think he will live on the leash on the boat :tonguewink: He is fearless, and seemed like he was getting very comfortable out there!IMG_2360.jpeg
