I would like to buy a EU doberman and came across with Pauls dobermans their pups are beautiful and almost 6k they have no titles and they claim that they have dont all the nessesary testings and "a good bloodline" I dont mind paying that much however I would like to know if thats worth it ?
Does anyone have any kind of experience with them?

Ask to see actual test results and go from there.

Hmmm, his stud fee is only $2k but he's selling pups for $6k? From unproven (in something)
stock?

You are absolutely right, to be more clear the price he gave me $5500, also he mentioned that he has sold Dobermans for10k too. "he has a good bloodline and it all depends to it"
I am a bit confused

Looks like they're 3-4 hrs from you. Only advise (other then keep looking) would be go and see the dogs, meet the breeder. See where the puppies are raised.

I don't see where they're involved in anything dog related other then breeding.
Anyone can CLAIM CH bloodlines or amazing bloodlines. How far back in the pedigree are the CH's?
For $10k... dog better be cropped & standing/docked/dew claws removed/house trained/obedience trained way beyond sit & come... etc

One male is 29" and 110 lbs - oversized, and not within standards for a good Doberman. Right there I'd walk away. The other one advertised at $2000 stud fee is not even 2 years old and hasn't had his hips certified... big red X through that one. Some of the females on the testing says DCM1 - Clear and DCM2 "pending". Whatever the hell that means. When you get a DNA test the gene is either there or not, never heard of "pending". Their "about us" story admits they've not even had Dobermans for 5 years - yet now they're cranking out way over the top $$$ pups? I wouldn't bother to give these breeders (greeders) a phone call, much less a visit. Just my opinion, find a breeder who actually does things with their dogs, whether its show or sports, even if you just want a pet.

I find there is this bizarre tendency in some breeders top brag about how much they have sold their pups for.

There's no way I'd pay $5,500 for a pup. For me to pay even 2 thousand less than that, I'd need definitive proof of extensive health testing results, and I'd need the pup to come from well-proven stock, and to really like the appearance and conformation and demonstrated temperament of the sire, dam and hopefully even grandsire and granddam.

My recommendation is to not buy from this breeder. They seem, based on your description, to be all about lofty claims, and frankly, greed.

We used GenSol, VetGen or VetNostic labs for DNA testing before & after Embark was available. Because I had already tested for vWD, Dings, DM & DCM1 (then referred to as PDK4) and color, I didn't do Embark. Then when I sent off swabs for DCM2, while we were waiting for results, all I could say was "Pending".

However......... in this case, if they did the Embark swabs, there shouldn't be anything Pending that can be tested for through DNA (especially when they have all the other results).

Yeah, after I typed that, I was thinking maybe they used a company that didn't do DCM2 and had it sent off to another place and were waiting. But still, the whole thing smells of someone paying a big price for a puppy, then thinking how they could make big $$ too. Advertising a stud fee of $2000 for an unproven dog not yet 2? It just offends me to see the website listing "our dogs" as 2 dogs and 6 or 8 bitches, most young with no titles, assuming this is their breeding stock.

Exactly... and the only thing they've really put into their dogs besides Embark is the cost to get them, FAST PASS for me!
