dog (fly ears)

their has been a lot of flies on blackies ears lately they caused his ears to bled quite a bit I dont want to get into detail why but they did.I already went to the vet and they gave me a fly repellent ointment called SWAT CLEAR its working fine but once in a while the flies will still stand on him yesterday he bleed again. I was just wondering if u guys have any info advice experiences questions etc.

he is inside most of the time what happened is that i left him with my dad for about a week and well their he spent most of his time outside.

We've had a terrible fly and mosquito year here too and for what ever reason they're bothering Albert much more. I "think" they're more attracted to the darker colors since they don't bother Della as much.
I do my best to keep them brushed off when we're out, but a few bits are inevitable.
