    I can see you never took wood shop back in the day! (ahahahaha)...too late! Any thing that turns always has a reverse thread, so it doesn't loosen while running, Unless you're below the equator... (smile)

    We have the 8100 too and love it. The screw easily comes out with a fillips screwdriver to change the sanding drums.
