Crutch

Even yet today, I still find myself tearing up over the loss of my little Crutchie boy...There is no chance that as a 65 yr old disabled veteran I will ever live long enough to have a dog as good as he was... He was once in a lifetime. Love you, Crutch. Until we meet again!
Mark, you’ll never get another Crutch. This is true.
You still have time to have another great dog and experiences.
That dog will be different as God intended it to be, yet the motions of getting to know the new one and living together will feel familiar.

This girl we have now, she’s no Daisy.
She isn’t as sharp as Daisy was, but excels in some ways and pleases us.

It's nice to see you again Mark. I know what an impact losing Crutch had on you but like Gel said, don't be afraid to open your heart to another one when you're ready. No dog can replace Crutch but it can sure open a new chapter of love in your heart.
