Wow! I saw about 5 black squirrels on my walk to the pond this morning. Then 4 more while there.
I'm in Canada and we have black, grey and brown ones here. They drive my boy crazy. His prey drive kicks in fast with them. Sugar looks up in trees on our walks for them!!

We only have the little red tree rats out here but there are tons of grey ones in town (about 10 miles from here) and I don't see any red squirrels in town.
The other day looked out of the kitchen window and saw a Red Tailed Hawk sitting in the grass. He/she was eating something, was able to grab a shot, not very good quality, but you can see it's a snake. Probably Gopher snake, as doesn't have the markings of a Garter snake, and too chilly for Rattlers to be out yet.
