This made me LOL. omg that little creature is so cute. The photo with his mouth wide open reminds me of a Doberman puppyJazz yelled for me to get this critter out of her bed last night.

Even more like a Dobe pup, he bit me hard enough to draw a little blood when I picked him up. Not too happy about all the fuss. This made me LOL. omg that little creature is so cute. The photo with his mouth wide open reminds me of a Doberman puppy![]()
It's really cute but I had to hit wow since I've never seen anything like it before. It's a Spiny Knob Tailed Gecko and very cool. The first I've ever found and it's happily back outside.
That made me laugh too, but didn't want to appear to be laughing at you... isn't he pretty small? I love the small critters with big attitude. Hope he didn't hurt you!Even more like a Dobe pup, he bit me hard enough to draw a little blood when I picked him up
Wow! I thought it was really cute but not cute when they bite you! LOL He looks like a little dinosaur when his mouth was open. Of course I guess that's like our Dobermans too.Even more like a Dobe pup, he bit me hard enough to draw a little blood when I picked him up. Not too happy about all the fuss.
He made me squeak! It was more startling than painful. That made me laugh too, but didn't want to appear to be laughing at you... isn't he pretty small? I love the small critters with big attitude. Hope he didn't hurt you!
And there is no escaping it regardless how tight your house is. I've only seen a few this year (so far) but maybe it's too dry for them or something.when they get harvested they head to the cliffs to hibernate and my house is a cliff! LOL But I'm not alone... they're on everyone's houses.
Some folks say "a ladybug landing on you is good luck!"You probably wouldn't categorize these as Critters but, OMG. Once they cut the soybean Field behind us and the day got warm, the ladybugs were amazing! They were everywhere! Flying in the air, on the house and on you! I barely went outside that afternoon because they were so bad. They were landing everywhere on you! In fact, I had one down my shirt! I was told a long time ago that they are on the soybeans and when they get harvested they head to the cliffs to hibernate and my house is a cliff! LOL But I'm not alone... they're on everyone's houses. It's amazing. Its days like that when I almost wish for a killing freeze.![]()
Sigh....I've heard that too but can't bear them crawling on me!Some folks say "a ladybug landing on you is good luck!"

So cool looking but they can take your finger off.Saw this guy on our road this morning...Big snapper....View attachment 150605he was up on all fours, with his head out walking until I stopped my car and got out to take his photo.
Love these guys....so prehistoric looking!!!!

Wow he's cool looking. Looks like a hose laying on the ground. The ones around here that are that long are usually 3 times as wide and easily seen.Another one of Remy’s findsIt was about 4ft long! I was coming from the opposite direction the picture was taken, so the snake was mostly hidden by the plants. I noticed it when Remy tried to go over and sniff it (of course I pulled him away lol). I believe it’s a Black Racer and they are harmless. It also seemed to be dead which I thought was kind of odd considering how I found it? View attachment 150767
Is it chilly there? Sometimes they get extremely lethargic when the temp cools off.It also seemed to be dead which I thought was kind of odd considering how I found it?
