Critters and wildlife in your area - post your pics

Honestly, I was just trying to take the trash out this morning and see this. I know they're non-venomous but snakes are my one paralyzing fear.

So that's where I left the trash bag since the darn thing would not move when I tried to shoo it off with the poop scoop.

I've been wondering what happened to this little guy, I hadn't seen him for a while and then have seen him twice today.20210728_151814.jpg

Not truly critters and wildlife in our area, but today Lorraine and myself were lucky to have got tickets to visit a big cat sanctuary about 70miles from us only open to the public 5 days a year, they had just had the first birth off a black Jaguar in captivity 3.5 months ago unfortunately we didn't get to see it live as it was sleeping with its mum, here are a few pictures off some off the big cats there.20210729_153047.jpg20210729_152840.jpg20210729_152733.jpg20210729_151303.jpg20210729_144838.jpg20210729_144312.jpg20210729_143837.jpg20210729_144513.jpg20210729_144817.jpg20210729_151516.jpg20210729_153114.jpg20210729_153307.jpg20210729_154020.jpg20210729_154300.jpg20210729_162004.jpg20210729_162313.jpg20210729_163131.jpg

Where’s Waldo? 41FF93D4-E610-4AC5-A946-B7C6F9F769D5.jpeg

Waldo being one of the new baby doves in the tree.
Hopefully this little one makes it past his first few days of flight after the sparrow hawk incident of a month or two ago🤔

Both of the babies are flying this morning but the one is more elusive in getting pics of.
Both parents are out flying together again and trying to coax them out for another test flight. C435D656-0EE0-4064-A96E-301BA9885794.png
One of the parent birds on the neighbors chimney looking towards the nest and making noise.
My neighbor hates these birds, lol.
They let out a call before they land and when they land on her spark arrestor it rattles and the neighbor can hear it😂

What is that fence made of?

Somehow it just doesn't look strong enough for those big ole cats....

They are very well made cages it doesn't show very well on phone camera, they don't have rare opening days to feed the visitors to the cats

Bedja caught and killed a groundhog in our yard 30 minutes ago. There was no time for me to prevent it, just heard a bloodcurdling loud noise coming from him then he just kept shaking it....He let go of of the animal while still alive and they stood goggling each other for seconds, then I managed to get hold of Bedja by the scruff (he wore no collar) and take him inside. The poor groundhog was obviously injured, he rolled over and twitched, then was gone.
Very sad sight. I know it is nature, though you do wish even wild animals to be healthy, thrive and survive.

(Tried to upload photo,
question for the tech Dpt: why does the system keep stating the file is too large when trying upload from my laptop, but not from the phone?)

My best guess is that your phone sizes them down some and you'd have to manually do it on your laptop, which I always do anyway.

So... Skynyrd caught another freakin armadillo today! Luckily I saw him catch it and made him drop it right away. Im thinking of the last time and laughing about the leprosy and comments!! Lol. He is going to give me a heart attack with everything lately. He looks so innocent!20210808_202822.jpg
